The day Michael Jackson went orange

Michael Jackson's grieving brother Tito today revealed how the Black & White singer once ate so many carrots that his hands turned ORANGE!

Tito said Jacko's obsession with the vegetable was one pointer to the addictive personality which family members reckon overshadowed final last years.

He said: "Michael always used to eat healthy - he ate a lot of vegetables. At one time he ate so many carrots his hands turned a little orange.

"He was a vegan, never ate meat, only vegetables and healthy stuff, juices and fruits - same for the children."

Tito, 55, told the Mirror how he and his other siblings confronted Jacko about his prescription drug habit before he died.

He told how he and his brothers Jackie and Randy and sisters Janet, Rebbie and La Toya burst into Jackson's Neverland ranch, knowing they "had to act".

He said: "We bust right into the house and he was surprised to see us to say the least. We went into one of his private rooms and had a discussion with him. Some of us were crying.

"We kept asking him if it was true what we had heard that he was using drugs."

Although Jackson denied the rumours to his siblings and never let them see him on drugs, Tito said they were not convinced.

He described how Jackson's staff shut him and his siblings out of the house, even setting up roadblocks to keep them out.

Reports emerged last week that Jackson ordered staff to get him prescription drugs and travelled to other states to obtain more pills.

Los Angeles' police chief William Breton said last week that detectives investigating the pop star's death were looking at his prescription drug history and trying to talk to his numerous former doctors.
