MICHAEL Jackson's doctor was due to be interviewed by LA cops last night about the singer's last hours - as a SECOND AUTOPSY was being carried out.

Jackson's family requested another post mortem after his body was released to them by the coroner yesterday.

They fear the Thriller megastar was hooked on a cocktail of heavy painkillers and believe he was given an injection moments before his heart slowed.

But Dr Conrad Murray broke his silence when he insisted through his lawyer: "I am not responsible for Michael's death. I am very upset, as are millions of people across the world.

"But I am not a suspect. I intend to co-operate fully with the police then get on with my life."

Sources told the News of the World Jacko's dad Joe will file a private lawsuit against Dr Murray should it turn out his son was killed by any "inappropriate medication".

The family is desperate to learn the full extent of Jacko's drug abuse in his final days. They do not want to wait six weeks for the official coroner's report on toxicity levels in the singer's system to reveal the exact cause of death.

Cardiologist Dr Murray, 51, known as Dr Feelgood, has hired hot-shot lawyer Matt Alford - described by his own firm as "an intimidating bad ass". Dr Murray was also accused last night of BOTCHING his attempt at resuscitating Jacko.

A 911 recording revealed the cardiologist - hired at the performer's request by promoters AEG in preparation for his planned London concerts - tried to revive him on a BED when he should have put the collapsed singer onto the FLOOR.

Simon said: "To do effective CPR, you need to be on a hard surface."

The initial post mortem revealed there were no signs of "external injury" or "foul play" to Jacko's body. But dad Joe, 79, emerged from a furious meeting with police to declare: "The truth is still to be told, I'll tell you that right now!"

He added: "One day Michael is practising his dance routines in good health. Then there's this gap between his bedtime and the next day when we get the call that Michael is unconscious. Something happened that time in the doctor's presence. How long had he stopped breathing?"

The Jacksons wanted the new post mortem after Dr Murray FAILED to tell coroners what happened in the minutes after he gave Jacko his last shot of painkiller Demerol.

But his lawyer insisted he was not considered a suspect by cops and there was no criminal investigation.

i hope that the children are able to continue to seek jehovah as michael had put in his will for them to do so .he may have not lived by his belief, do to his busy life.but that was his choice. - . he knew what the bible says he quoted it several times.but he wanted his kids to learn..As jhon5:28,29 says- all those in the memorial tumbs will hear my voice{jesus} and come out.michael knew there was a Resurrection.so hopefully his children will get to learn all that they want to so they can get thier full reward.

Leave Michael Jackson his children and his family alone.Michael was good, kind and great. Now he's laid to rest and will remain the BEST. GOD is mercyful and HIS love will never end, and HE will bless you dear Michael.

Let Mikaeel rest in peace. There's his weakness and strength. Let the positive sides over his little dark lifestyle before. We learned from his sacrifiying experiments to enlighten science and our spiritual side. He died as a person who left so many positive things that we need to make our lifestyle better than ever! i am still in shock i cant even believe this is even happening...i am so numb i think it is all a dream and i am gonna wake up..! truth will all come out on this sooner or later it always does...love you michael you are the best entertainer i have ever seen dance...you are the music and the song that will live forever with us...i am so sad that your gone...i cant even stop the tears from coming...you will be very missed...

GOD bless Michael's family, especially his children. Only God knows the truth and Michael is with him now. Michael was always my favorite arist. His music will always will be here for everyone to enjoy. R.I.P. MICHAEL !!!!!

I do not believe the accusations nor any of the negetive coments made in the press and by some of Michaels own family members. True I did not know him personaly. But being about the same age and with some of the same symtoms. I can relate to his tale. He would not have been the most creative artist (entertainer) that I have ever wittnessed. Without his own good heart. It is unfortunate for his children to have to listen and hear all the make up crap that is out there. But like Lisa Marie I am sure they knew their father better than anyone on earth. RIP Love you and will miss you Michael. God Bless Prince Micheal , Paris , Prince Micheal II.....

There are a lot of people now coming forward and positioning themselves to get whatevr they can from this tragedy. So called friends and connections,who are being offered huge sums of cash to dish the dirt, even if it means making it up. Most of it made up.

I feel as though I've lost a childhood friend, a little brother. Michael, You are the best entertainer that ever lived. You excelled in all you did. I will always have the fondest memories of you. All the dirt on Michael will mean nothing to his loyal fans. Fans will miss Michael..and are all feeling numb. But Michael left his music...lot's of it...Go listen to some of his songs. So much understanding in his song. Michael wrote his songs as he felt them. That's what made him "The Greatest Entertainer on planet earth"
