NO COURT FOR JUDGE IN RENT BOY SCANDAL
THE married senior judge exposed for putting his rent boy lover on the bench during trials has not been hearing cases this week, the News of the World can reveal.
Circuit Judge Gerald Price QC, 60, has been absent from Swansea Crown Court as the Ministry of Justice considers suspending him while they launch a probe into his conduct, likely to take "at least a month".
A source said: "The Judge has taken a leave of absence. The reasons are obvious. How could he sit on vice cases when he is being accused of involvement in vice?"
Last week we told how the father-of-two opened himself up to blackmail after enjoying a nine-month affair with male escort Christopher Williams, 25.
The £129,000-a-year judge gave Williams access to all three courts, pretending to officials he was a law student.
