Martine, who lost both legs in the 2005 atrocities in London, patted her bump and said: "I can't wait now. It's exhausting."
"I can't use my prosthetic legs as I can't balance on them. So I haven't stood up since March. But it will be worth it just to hold my baby."
Martine, 36, feared she would never have kids after the Aldgate Tube blast. Now she's set to become a mum on the anniversary of the outrage.
Doctors even believe she will be able to have a natural birth.
Martine added: "When I think of what I've been through I know I can manage with anything. It will be a case of adapting to things when they happen and finding a way. I may have to get an electric wheelchair and legs with knees that lock so that I don't topple over when I'm carrying the baby in my arms."
Martine, who lost 90 per cent of her blood and had to be revived five times, admitted it will be the first anniversary of July 7 that she and husband photographer Nick Wiltshire will not be abroad.
She said: "Every year I have been away. I don't want to see the images on the news. I don't want to see a picture of Aldgate with me being carried out on a stretcher.
"But this year I will either have a baby boy or girl to look after or I'll be in labour. Either way the focus is on the future. Sometimes I just stop and think, 'Wow, I never thought I would be here'."
