Five women have quit and one has been suspended at a centre housing the country's most violent juvenile killers, rapists and thugs.
Our probe found a string of inmates were able to romp with the professionals charged with keeping them under lock and key. And bosses were horrified to discover how:
FEMALE warders had enjoyed secret sex sessions with killers.
A PETITE former member of a chaplaincy team posed for porn pictures for a monster who slaughtered his ex with a hunting knife.
A SUSPECTED drugs trafficking operation was led by an officer who later moved in with an ex-inmate.
The scandal has rocked Aylesbury Young Offenders' Institute in Buckinghamshire, which holds inmates serving the longest sentences of all young male offenders in the UK.
The 443-place centre was already reeling from news earlier this year that warder Kelly-Anne McDade was having a baby by violent burglar inmate Nelson Delgado.
Today we can reveal that another officer, brunette Denise Clough, has been suspended over a relationship with a prisoner in an adult jail.
Former chaplain's helper Clough, 47, posed for porn pictures with a sex toy for savage killer Stephen Griffiths, who she had been visiting at Parkhurst on the Isle of Wight.
The pictures were found when suspicious staff searched Griffiths' cell.
A source said: "The governors of both jails are livid. They cannot understand how a former chaplain's helper could lower herself to be intimate with such low-life."
Griffiths, 45, stabbed ex-girlfriend Rana Faruqui, 35, near Burnham, Bucks, after stalking her for months. He first got to know Clough while awaiting trial in Oxfordshire in 2003.
But our investigation exposes how Clough's grubby relationship with him is just the tip of the iceberg of problems at Aylesbury.
Between June 2006 and February 2009, FOUR female warders quit over sex and drugs allegations which have been kept secret until now.
In June 2006, a warder having a sexual relationship with killer Darren Benton quit in disgrace after being confronted with evidence.
In August 2007, a colleague left in similar circumstances after having sex with Jay Roberts, who had been convicted of attempted robbery.
In July 2008, a third resigned and set up home with an ex-inmate after she was found distributing drugs.
And in February 2009, yet another quit after she was found having sex with murderer Stevie Osborne.
A source said: "The governor is tearing his hair out. He has urged the police to arrest these women."
Aylesbury governor David Kennedy has met cops over his concerns on all the cases but Thames Valley Police have yet to act. He said: "Inappropriate relationships between prisoners and staff are a gross abuse and constitute a security breach."
Yesterday Denise Clough told us: "I have no comment to make. I must speak with the Ministry of Justice."
Police said: "We have a number of ongoing investigations in place."

I actually Served a sentance at this Prison and someone should point out that while we have normal people commiting crimes, its really no surprise that normal people doing a job should do the same.
However the Overall Staff here are Excellent and some Deserve extra credit one who i wont name is the union rep and is a wonderful human being who helped me as a person survive a very hard ordeal which i deserved. Its very Easy to Judge but the Chaplaincy Officer Denise Clough. Was someone who was respected by the inmates as a fair member of staff and was in no way misusing her Keys!!!
People are quick to judge those that deal with Manipulators and i have seen them in action... this is a good Prison that Supports and helps young indivduals move on from crime and should be noted for its good points not for things like this. i wonder for all those people that complained and jumped up and down. How many had cheated on a partner because temptation was there.....

Are you mad?! Hang who? A boy whos done a burgalary because his father is an abusive woman beaten alcoholic and his mother has no money to feed him? Or a girl who was raped and abused by her own father and developed a drug habit to escape? Im not saying that all cases are like this. But did you know that over 70% of young women in prison have suffered from some form of abuse?! What is needed is more help and support before these young people offend. And failing that then some form of help in prison. I did a dissertation on perpetrator programmes inside our prisons...and there is little or no help for offenders. They are locked up...and believe me it is not an easy life....then after being in their cells for god knows how long...let back out into society with worse anger problems and such like to reoffend. I dont bloody blame em!

Like most people I agree that these acts are unprofessional and irresponsible - but people are human at the end of the day - so I doubt these cases are the first to happen (or the last).
The only thing that puzzles me is - apart from the drug incidents - what laws have been broken and why are the police involved? - Were the inmates underage?

As a serving Prison Officer, I wish to respond the comment above which indicates that the Governor should be held accountable. May I inform the public that these staff are held in total abhorrence by the decent hard working officers that far outweigh these pathetic few. In all cases the Governor needs evidence to suspend/dismiss these staff and in general it the honest staff that supply this evidence. These staff bring into question the safety of the establishment, there colleagues and the other prisoners which we have a duty of care to protect and of course the public. It is not my place to dictate what the police should do, however all honest staff would wish to see the full weight of the law to lay heavy on these dispicable staff. There is no place in the service for these people, as there behaviour casts doubt over staff that already have a tough job to do in difficult circumnstances with staff storages. However if it means staff shortages and these people out of the service, then so be it.

When the Goverment or a big Company mess things up, people look at the person running things for answers. Maybe we should be looking at the person in charge of that Prison to find out why this has been allowed to go on for so long!! Instead of giving Prisoners more rights than the staff working there. Maybe the Management should show the staff a little support?

I think its disgustine that some people can judge a book by its cover you should not pass comment on those you do not know or do not have full facts on its a disgrace that people live their lives more interested in other peoples buisness rather than their own..... You all need to take a good look in the mirror and sort your own lives out before you pass judgment on others.. And before you say about bringing back the hanging system think about situations and if you was in the situation where it was your life or someone elses what would you do??? Get facts before you critizise others...

I totally agree its bloody disgusting that these low lifes can take the lives of innocent people, steal from people and get the life of riley with all mod cons in jail! no wonder Britain is in the state its in!! yeah bring back hanging its whats needed
By Gilly.. Posted June 21 2009 at 11:49 AM.
It galls me that murders get the life of riley in prison, playstation, sky etc. While I struggle to pay my bills and keep a roof over my head it proves crime does pay under Labour. Bring back hanging!
