Pretty events organiser Victoria was bombarded with persuasive text messages from the screen star.
But when the lovable telly rogue finally charmed her into bed after splitting with pin-up Abi he ruthlessly DUMPED her just days later.
Now Victoria, 27, brands boyish 42-year-old Marc as just like his TV character Danny Blue -"They're both hustlers and you can't trust a word they say.
"Marc really pursued me, wining and dining me. I even said to him, 'As soon as you get what you want this'll all change!' He said, 'No, not at all, I'm not like that.'
"But it's EXACTLY what he's like. He hustled me into bed then lost interest the moment he got his way."
Victoria, of Radlett, Herts, first clocked TV Marc at her local gym in January, 2008.
"One day Marc started chatting to me and right away he was really flirtatious," she recalled. "I was flattered.
"He's a good bit older than me but he has a really interesting face and piercing blue eyes."
Victoria had no idea who he was. She added: "I hadn't a clue he'd been in films and so many TV shows until he told me."
Marc - who has also starred in State Of Play, Doctor Who, Life on Mars, Band Of Brothers and British blockbuster movie Green Street - soon got Victoria to swap phone numbers.
"His texts were really flirty," she said. "He was so forward and loved to talk about sex, asking for my fantasies."
But one thing he didn't bother to mention was his two-year romance with John Leslie's ex Abi.
"For a whole month he didn't mention it, said Victoria. "When he finally got round to it I was stunned. He even told me how much he loved her!"
Shocked brunette Victoria instantly rebuffed the actor's advances. "But he continued texting me," said Victoria. "He'd send pictures of himself topless and wanted me to do the same but I refused. I'd always reply with, 'How's your girlfriend?' "
And while Marc was trying to woo leggy Victoria, busty blonde Abi was busy telling the world how in love they were. But when Marc said in an interview how he wanted to settle down and have kids with his celeb girlfriend, Victoria cut off all contact with him.
Then on March 27 - just days after splitting from Abi - Marc sent a message out of the blue saying: "Hey. Guess what. I'm single! X"
Victoria couldn't help being flattered again and said: "I was single as well, so I thought 'Why not?'
"In early April we went for dinner. To be honest the conversation was a bit laboured. Apart from sex, yoga, and talking about his body, he's not really interested in much."
But after weeks of dating, Marc finally charmed Victoria into bed. She told us: "I thought I could trust him and took that next step.
"It was just before he flew to Morocco to start filming a new version of Ben Hur at the beginning of this month. The sex was great and I was hoping it would lead to something more.
"After he left I missed him and at first we talked on the phone every day. But just before he was due back a week ago, I couldn't get in touch with him. He finally sent me a message saying he was sorry but he'd met someone else.
"I was amazed. It all happened so fast. As quickly as I'd got into it I was suddenly out of it."
That's what those hustlers do best. . . pull a fast one.
