I Back gordon all the way he is a strong leader with back bone - they fiddled and now they run cos he wont support them. Its about time the popularity contest was over, we need a leader with balls and I back Gordon to get this country back on its feet, he needs to ditch Mandelson though.

Gaz. Stop listening to Gordon he's only repeating Labour spin. Don't be so ill informed. Go read the conservative policy documents on their website. Gordon is talking Mandelson/Draper/McBride Balls

Can anyone tell me and the voters of this country what the Tory and Lib Dems position is on the economy, law and order etc. How do they propose to get the country back on its feet. As far as I can see Gordon Brown is the only one talking about doing anything. I remember what happened to this country under Thatcher do we really want to go back to those dark days under Cameron and his Eton cabinet.

Unelected, unwanted and clinging on for a last gasp milk of the system. Brown will be remembered for high taxes and breathtaking hypocrisy over the bank collapse as it was him who introduced the FSA to regulate them with ruled drawn up by bankers. It was Brown that destabilised the last months of Blair - what goes around comes around as it's the Blairites who are now coming to put him out of our misery.

Taxi for Gordon.

I was stuck in a traffic jam this morning on the M25 listening to Ken Livingstone attempting to spin the line that there was a 2 per cent swing to the Labour party at the local elections on Thursday and that there was no appetite for a Cameron-led Tory government. In the light of your poll - is poor old Ken living in a little Marxist dream-world of his own?
