His devastated parents were told to take him home to die after his rare leukaemia returned a THIRD time.
"They said there was nothing more they could do and gave him a few weeks to live," says his mum Claire, 26.
"But that was six months ago and just look at him now! No-one can explain why the cancer has suddenly disappeared.
"The surgeon who phoned me with the news said he couldn't believe it. I just burst into tears."
Jordan, now three, began his amazing battle with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at just ten weeks old. He was so ill stunned Claire and husband Gerry, 30, were told he might not last 48 hours-and if he did he only had a TEN PER CENT chance of survival.
But Jordan had other ideas. He endured six months of aggressive chemotherapy despite being the youngest patient with his disease that doctors at Yorkhill Children's Hospital in Glasgow had ever treated.
And after he had a bone marrow transplant in April 2006 it seemed the cancer was gone. "He started nursery-and we really thought we had put this behind us," says Claire.
But in February the following year Jordan fell ill again-and was saved by more chemotherapy and a transplant of matching stem cells from a baby in Barcelona. His family sighed with relief again. But last November blood tests showed it was back. "The doctors told us to enjoy what few weeks he had left," says Claire, of Glasgow. The charity Wish Upon a Star arranged for the youngster to visit Santa in Lapland.
But just before Christmas after further blood tests, came the phone call Claire and Gerry had never dared dream of. Jordan had another test in February which was also clear.
Ken Campbell, of the Leukaemia Research Fund, told us: "There is no medical explanation for his recovery." And News of the World GP Dr Hilary Jones added: "Spontaneous remission with this disease is so rare. It's a miracle."

Its a shame no one has bothered to comment here on this little boys feelings.
God Bless you little Jordan only a miracle could of happened here? Looking at your picture and reading your story you have been a very brave boy.
I pray all this has gone now for you and you can start living you life and make your mummy and daddy very proud, i picked up a family when i was working at the airport, this little boy was very poorley and "wish up on a star" had organised his dream to drive a racing car, i took the family to derby to meet a the chauffer and camera crew who where to take the boy to his dream. It breaks your heart to hear about these sick children, but it doesn't half make you feel better when you hear about the wonderful charity "Wish Upon a Star" who help them. If everyone give a little then everyone would be giving a lot! help make some childs dream, it may be there last!
God Bless.

Steve of Wrotham I dont know where you get your information from but its totaly wrong. Mind over matter has been demonstrated millions of times by the remarkable cures that have come about through hypnosis. I also had a friend who was a spiritualist and was cut open for stomach problems to be stitched back up straight away with the prognosis of less than a month to live but this amasing gentleman lived a further ten years. If you look into quantum physics you will learn that all matter is affected by the mind. I agree some people say they will fight cancer with strength of will but that is counter productive because subconsiously your admiting its going to win. The correct way has been demonstrated to visualise it going away not fighting with will because the subconsious mind is the mind that makes your heart beat or repair a cut or cures a cold all by itself. I have spent forty years studying the mind and have seen and been part of many so called miracles.

Parhaps he was born with a natural defense against cancer. I hope they do more tests on the blood samples they have of him - it could mean a new hope to fighting this killer disease.

A child cannot have `a will to live` since they do not understand death. Nature takes it`s own course - some are lucky - some are not. This little boy was lucky. I wish him well and hope he stays healthy and has a long and happy life.

Chemo does not kill everyone, I know that because I had 9 months of Chemo in 1999-2000 and I'm here to tell the tale. If you have not had Chemo how can you knock it. We need positive remarks for dealing with cancers of all kinds not the doom and gloom from some people.

So much for doctors' opinions. Chemo kills people. If the cancer doesn't kill you the chemo will. My opinion is, let them cut out the lumps and tumours, but don't let them pump you full of toxic chemicals or you definitely won't see your next birthday. The body has natural resistances to all manner of things and can behave in a remarkable unexpected way to fight disease and heal. Unfortunately, those butchers who prefer us to be human ginuea pigs so they can trial out their latest drug treatments and toxic poisons like to tell us we've only got 2 months to live so that there's less choice and it makes their statistics look better. I'd like to know what the survival rate would actually be if everybody stopped getting chemo altogether. Life would certainly more tolerable for the dying person - everyone I know who has had it has died anyway, in PAIN and AGONY from chemo - look at Jade for example, she was fine until she started the chemo.

i m sure chemotherapy played a role. we ve seen a few cases like this.

People are quick to blame God if something rotten happens to someone innocent... so maybe he helped out a little for this little cutie.
By dem.. Posted May 24 2009 at 7:55 AM.
Paul : a will to live is great. But the chemo, operations and constant medical treatment must have played a role, don't you think?
By Michael Unsworth.. Posted May 24 2009 at 7:01 AM.
It's a lovely idea that 'mind over matter' works but research has consistently shown it has no effect. More people have known cancer sufferers who 'fought' to the very last, battling with a concerted will who then died. It is an insult to them to suggest they didn't try hard enough and an unjustified 'big-up' to those lucky enough to survive who were - just lucky. There are millions more in the first category than those who miraculously beat it. The answer to that lays elsewhere - and I don't mean religion/God.

Its peoples will to live that i believe helps them recover . My friend in America had cancer that spread from his bone to his brain and lungs , he had numerous ops to remove tumours went through months of chemo and been told on several occasions you wont see your next birthday. 3 months ago he walked out of hospital and is now believe or not back working as an officer cleaner. He never once gave up and told me on numerous occasions ill show the doctors there wrong.
