WE can exclusively reveal the mystery man who spent the night with Elen Rives is footballer Lawrie Wilson.
Wilson, 22, is a defender for Stevenage Borough FC .
In today's News of the World we published pictures of hunk Wilson snogging and caressing Spanish beauty Elen - ex-fiancee of Chelsea ace Frank Lampard.
Elen and Wilson had been drinking pink champagne cocktails at London's swanky Soho House private members' club before they were spotted kissing and cuddling on their way to another bar.
Later in the evening they booked into a five-star hotel for the night.
Affection
The very public display of affection came just weeks after Elen was dumped by Lampard, who had cheated on her twice.
A source close to Wilson said: "Seeing him pictured on the frontpage with Frank's ex was a surprise to us all, to say the least."
Lampard is one of the Premier League's highest earners on £140,000 a week, and is used to playing in front of crowds of tens of thousands.
Wilson's Stevenage team are in the Blue Square Premier League, and have a stadium capacity of just over eight thousand.

From the FA Premier League to the Blue Square Premier League - I didn't realise it was possible to get relegated through that many divisions in a matter of weeks!
