Names, claims and excuses..list of scandal MPs that you should sack at next election

THESE are the MPs so far exposed for their expenses claims-and the excuses many have used to "explain" the amount of money they wanted.

It is the first time all this information has been collated in one place, and makes grim reading.

We urge readers to keep these pages in a safe place. Then remind yourselves at election time exactly how such men and women chose to spend OUR money.

You can post a comment on this page by scrolling down and filling in the form at the bottom.

Since the scandal broke over a week ago, Britain has been aghast-and ultimately furious-at the array of goods and services MPs have routinely charged to the taxpayer. Everything from KitKats to moats.

And while MPs were adamant they were following rules-and were initially completely comfortable with their actions-there has since been a procession of members eager to show off cheques as they paid back sums that, apparently, no longer looked "reasonable".

Among the most prominent is Hazel Blears, right, though no party is immune from the public perception of greed.

If your MP is among those listed here, please consider where your "Xs" will go at a general election.

I don't understand why any of the mp's tink that any of the expences they have claime coould be said as reasonable. i make £960 per calander month and it costs me £200 for diesel to travel to work each month before I even pay a bill. this is not taken into considraton for my rent or tax. where is the justice in the system. scrape by week by week with no help. see how you live on this.

By arlene.. Posted February 26 2010 at 7:08 PM.

MPs should now shut up and pay up ALL the money they took by using lax rules. I have read the Green Book rules and they are specific in nature on what is allowed, the MPs have been "economical" with the true meaning to suit their own greed.
Having looked at the list of payments it shows that by just appealing, the MP can talk his/her way out of returning thousands of pounds, they are parasites. We have paid for their childrens private education and their family members lifestyle. We have been treated with contempt.

By Marina.. Posted February 17 2010 at 12:19 PM.

With all of this corruption from MP's in the UK It's easy to see why the French and Russians people took such drastic action against their corrupt officials in the past. Not a suggestion only an observation. They really do live in another world - I wish they would go back there!!

By A Poor man.. Posted December 11 2009 at 1:38 PM.

Iv read all the comments about our members of the theiving commons, but they not alone we have the nouse of lords councillors county councillors police social services indeed anybody paid by the working man all are pigs in the trough. The problem is the vast majority of working people are like sheep they here the horn and come running, they should put there vote where there mouth is or shut there mouths and cower down to these pigs who are not only robbing them but there kids and grand kids i dont say this to hurt anybody, hopefully to make peoples blood boil against these parasites and think of your family and country

By wayne.. Posted November 14 2009 at 2:48 PM.

You only have to watch parliment on a Wednesday to watch a number of jerks there; they are their just for the money.
Sack the ones that have been caught out and start again with many more less MP's. Have we asked our self's how many £1,0000 pounds have been stolen over many the years!.

By mike.. Posted October 12 2009 at 7:53 AM.

I recall taking a 64 year old to a DWP tribunal for a £16 award in 2007. We won the case, his expences for the round trip of 68 miles was £2.80 I got nothing. Did not want anything, but it makes you think hard.

My God - Tom

By Tom Christopher.. Posted June 18 2009 at 5:50 PM.

I drive 50 miles to work every single day. then i drive 50 miles home again.

i dont claim the petrol, running costs or the floor mats back as an expense. they want to be MP's they have to pay for it.

By Wally.. Posted June 18 2009 at 2:41 PM.

I am a member of the Armed Forces and have been for the past 24 years. I am now in Army recruiting. I have to live 30 miles away from my place of work. I can apply for an allowence for my petrol, which i have to pay nearly 50% back. I have no choice in where i am stationed and where i live. If i can do that because i am told to do so by MPs, why cant they. I have to travel every day and i cannot get any help with rent, my mortgage, or plants. I claimed £23 in food expenses last month and i was ordered to show reciepts and explain them. MPs should hang there heads in shame and they should all be accountable under the benifit fraud act. ANYONE ELSE WOULD BE

By With held.. Posted June 18 2009 at 1:19 PM.

As a rule I try not to follow the media because who ever has the media on there side wins but I must admit that this time I am glad that the media got this right. I have always said the biggest crooks are the ones that make the rules ,because they know how to bend them....but not this time.
We the public will not forget. They complain about paying the soldiers, nurse ,fire persons and teachers what they should get while they build their housing empires for when the credit crunch ends.
Will we the public see any profit when they sell the houses which we helped to renovate??.

By D.Patterson.. Posted May 28 2009 at 11:57 PM.

Not one MP would have repaid anything had they not been exposed--not even the ones who claimed their excessive claims were an 'oversight'.Plus will these MP's repay any money claimed in previous years???

By Ian Sarge.. Posted May 24 2009 at 4:49 PM.

The MP's involved should rightly hang their heads in shame and repay all the money. They will have have to answer to their constituents to save their jobs and rightly so.
There is , however, a lot of hypocrisy amongst the public. Many are on benefits that they are not entitled to, and I work in a government office where about one third of the staff take home £25k but slouch for half the week on the phone to friends, or are on the internet.
They are usually the first to accuse others.
REMEMBER: The accusers are never innocent.

By chas.. Posted May 23 2009 at 11:00 PM.

the house of commons should be renamed the house of conmen (and women)

By LULU.. Posted May 23 2009 at 9:29 PM.

what a bunch of parasites. they should not stand down at the next election they should stand down now. and to think we have real men and women fighting and dying in the middle east for that lot. it just sickens me to the stomach!!!!!!!!!!!!

By junior belfast.. Posted May 23 2009 at 5:46 PM.

I certainly do not think there should be a General Election until all MPS claims have been published there doesn't seem much difference between any of them so why vote for any of them whatever party they represent and the arrogance of some of them is unbelievable

By Mrs S Smith.. Posted May 22 2009 at 3:08 PM.

"How Disgusting" the entire WORLD, lives on GREED, its sickening to see this every single day. Trust no one, they should fire(sack) every single one of them, and the purse holders as well. Shame on all of them, what goes around comes around. Karma will come to them who justly deserve it....

By Sylvia Clarke.. Posted May 21 2009 at 5:26 PM.

i had my knees crushed 9 yrs ago and walk with 2 sticks i have to pay full council tax despite only getting £140 a week in benefits i have been told i cant get help to modify my bungalow as i own it and am not considered a priority and as i get the wrong benefits i cant get help with the £132 a month but a politician earnin over £1000 a week gets all their repairs paid and council tax pain i need a new kitchen when do i get help i hold a disabled badge and cant even park free now as my council says "its not a necessity for disabled to be given free parking "while council workers and mops get free parking and even free cars i have to use my car to get to town to shop but the poarking adds £3 minimum to my bill and if i stay more than 1 hr its more

Nadine Dorries Mid Bedfordshire MP you couldn't believe anything she says if you read the blogs this MP writes. Most of the time she seems to spend getting interviews in newspapers or TV when she's not telling you about what social do she is off to with Iain ! Did any reader follow her blogs over this past 2 years! In one Newspaper she spoke of her six thousand pound earings ! Seems this particular MP is more interested in appearance and clothes and getting her name on TV than being an MP

By Neville.. Posted May 19 2009 at 3:40 PM.

A new mood has been created in Britain, as we all suffer from the effects of greedy bankers, for looking afresh at the way our country and economy are run. However, firstly we must get rid of greedy politicians, so let us concentrate our minds fully on how to do that. And yes, look into local politics also.

By P. Dawson.. Posted May 19 2009 at 11:47 AM.

I am let down by the actions and corruptness of our so called representatives. I look forward to a general election so we can vote these parasites out.

They can callously vote to put more and higher taxes on the masses knowing they will be sheltered by hidden expenses. Many have thought why we are so burden with hidden taxes and kept in the dark wondering why the ordinary bloke cannot make ends meet.
Now we know.
One rule for THEM one for US.
They should all be investigated by the police.
In the corporate world this is regarded as THEFT and DECEPTION.
If they want to win our minds - reduce the TAX on the average working person in this country.

I have just been watching TV and Lord Mandelson was being asked, should the House of Commons Speaker be removed from the job and the answer, it is not up to the goverment makes me wonder who is in charge, will he be allowed to stay on so he can collect a nice tidy penision like all the heads of banks were allowed to do, or do we the public say the rot stops now, or are the MP's still being allowed to call the shot's making there own rules.
All MP's should live of there salary, just as I live of my wage's, as a lorry driver over many years I have lived away from home as hundreds of drivers are still doing to make there wages up to a living standard, not like MP's who get a fantastic wage before they start, then putting on all there expences and second homes, sell there second home making a profit, then start again. no wounder Tony Blair is so rich, Labour man, don't make me laugh they are all MP's for one reason and it is not to work, sack the lot, get rid of the Lord's and start from scratch because they are all out of touch with the people.

Yours Faithfully,

Crooks all of them!! disgusting and dishonest, they should all be FIRED! Why are they allowed to claim for refurbishement and decorating of their homes, no one helps me pay for my redecorating etc. Who do they think they are? I think we should appoint Sir Alan Sugar as Prime Minister and perhpas we would have some decent MP's then and some one who could control the spending of his MP's. They should throw away the rule book and let a committee of ordinary people rewrite their rules for what they can and cannot claim.

Oliver Cromwell was the only person to eradicate corruption in parliament, what we need is a strong type Cromwell personality once again. Guy Fawkes was the only person to go to parliament with good intentions. We are British and are supposed to lead the world in democracy, yet internally there are parasites who miss lead the general public and go to parliament with their own intentions to Rob the poor to fed their greed through misguided rules or should I say well defined rules of parliament expenses by those who know how to twist the expenses claims. We are being lead by clowns who are making a laughing stock of the UK people. PM’s question time is the best comedy show on TV 30 minuets of lies and deceit or deception.

Nadine Dorries MP for Mid Bedfordshire.
Have followed her blogs since 2006 and noticed how she srokes her own ego makes sure she is on TV or Newspapers and constantly talks about her "girls" then says she needs privacy.
Has contradicted herself so many times and always manages to wriggles out of it when she is found out.
Not an MP I would like to see Elected again.

What must happen now is the government should buy a hotel in London where the M Ps can stay in a room while they are at work, It would be free, but they must pay for food and drink.

Remove all peers, bishops and the rest from the lords, replace with members of public to oversee the commons. If we can sit in judgement on criminal law we can police parliament.
With a 6 or 12 month contract and pay of around
£200 a day it would be the supreme court..... of common sense and make sure that any government however chosen, would stay on track and not wander into area's the electorate we're not happy with. I do think there needs to be a new beginning as far as polititicians are concerned, as they are, contrary to their own beliefs, just as ordinary as the rest of us and they need to know that.
Could not the News of the World run an article trying to find the real manifesto of the UK, what policies and why! Lets us say how we wish to be governed. No doubt there'll be some obscure law that says this is undemocratic as the establishment, those we can't see or remove, try to perpetuate the system.

With immediate effect, the removal and crushing of motor vehicles in the United Kingdom should cease.

Every person who has had a motor vehicle crushed for non payment of road tax should be compensated by the Governmet, with interest.

Every lawyer who has had a part of their Leal aid fees reduced because a claim was submitted, late should have that portion of their fees repaid by the Goverment, with interest.

By micky.. Posted May 17 2009 at 7:38 PM.

I think they should move from the first home and relocate nearer their place of work (like everybody else has to do) or failing that maybe they could build a halls of residence, and I mean a halls of residence and not a block of luxury apartments. Then they could have just one room with a bed in for there overnight stay, and a shared bathroom. That would be sufficient.I also think they all should get down from there ivory towers and live in the real world,on less than £10.000.they expect most of joe public to do it so lets see how long they can live on that and pay all the bills.

By Christine Coe.. Posted May 17 2009 at 7:20 PM.

Without wanting to be overly emotive, I find these revelations absolutely disgusting. As a Head of Department in a secondary school, if I have to go on a course, I can claim back travel expenses. However, I firstly have to pay for the train ticket / petrol using money which has already been taxed. I put in my claim and if I'm lucky will be reimbursed a couple of months later, but not completely, as the money is refunded through my pay packet, which means I am taxed again...

So the politicians feel hard done by with their 'paltry' pay packets do they? Let them walk a week in my shoes, putting in the hours I have to work, earning my wage: see if they feel quite so hard done by then. I would love to have additional jobs to supplement my wages but there aren't the hours in the day left for this to be possible - never mind having the energy to be able to do it.

I can't stand the double standards being displayed by those in government. It seems to be a different set of rules for them. I have never felt able to trust MPs, but this beats everything. I hope that they will be prosecuted: unfortunately giving them a jail sentence would (ironically) only provide a further burden on the tax payers of this country.
Apparently MPs need a rise in their wages, so that these claims can be abolished, but this will affect tax payers by further extortionate sums. It seems that Joe Public is damned whatever happens by the corruption of our system.

If MP's require 'second homes' in London near Westminster then the government should take over a clock of 1 bed flats within walking distance of the House of Commons and every MP whose constituency home is too far away to commute gets allocated one of the flats. No need to buy a second home, no need to claim for a 2nd home or anything in it as it will be furnished with all the necessities. Tesco Direct could supply everything necessary. By the way, with all the things they have been claiming for, what exactly do they spend their over inflated salaries on?

As someone in receipt of incapacity benefit, having to attend numerous medicals, reviews, tribunals for a paltry £39 a week...this whole thing makes me sick. The poor have to jump through hoops to prove they need every penny while the rich and greedy snatch and steal money the country needs. I would like to think that at least some of these people feel some remorse, but in reality they don't, they don't like having been caught. They are sorry they have been rumbled and have to show willing to pay back what they have taken.
While the poor worry about how they will pay for lighting and heat, never mind food, these slimeballs are claming for massage chairs, cinema systems ( while the rest of us worry about paying the licence fee!) 2nd homes... when many of us are living in sub standard, over priced rented accomodation, having to answer endless questions and providing proof of income before they will accept that a rent of £650 a month is acceptable for a family of 7!
Having your dining room used as a bedroom, not having a garden for your kids to play in, putting up with whatever you have to in order to have ANY roof over your head and THEN having to feel grateful. That's real life, not having two homes, luxuries and all the mod cons for both homes paid for on top of high salaries!
Priorities? They have them all screwed up, the govt care about nobody but themselves. It scares me to know these people are running our country.

By H... Posted May 17 2009 at 3:16 PM.

Tony Blair knew what he was doing when he left parliament and left us with an unelected MP for prime minister, I wonder if there are any ghosts in his closet?

They all seem to be extremely well off don't they, I say they should all be investigated and prosecuted if need be. How can they justify the cost of house keeping and food as they would have had to pay this even if they were at their home, why should we have to pay. I have enough trouble paying my household bills without having to keep a second family (not of my choosing) and paying their bills as well I AM THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED with all of them, be advised, beware if you choose to canvas at my house you may have gathered I am not a happy bunny

MEMBERS OF PARLIMENT are all one thing BENT. How can those hipocrites moan about bankers having large bonuses whilst the banks are losing money when the MP's are even more crooked by claiming for second homes instead of travelling home 10/12 miles at the end of their day. Some people travel 50-80 miles aday with not even fuel costs paid for. WHERE oh WHERE is the money that is SO-CALLED going to be paid back going to goto? It certainly will not go back to the taxpayers nor the NHS, more likely to MP's Christmas Party fund.

I never want to hear another MP of any party mention ‘the benefit culture’
Why should I, a pensioner pay the interest on David Cameron’s mortgage? He is a very wealthy man with a wife who has even more cash. I realise ‘It’s in the rules’ but is it right? And have we forgotten about the woman MP claiming taxpayers money for her nanny to take her kids to school. Or the Wintertons trick of claiming rent on a home they had given to their kids?
Second Homes! Why not get rid of the un elected House of Lords replace the benches with beds for non London MP. They can then see what it’s like to stay in a mixed ward in the NHS!

By David Prestbury.. Posted May 17 2009 at 11:58 AM.

Any group that votes itself its own salary and expenses is likely abuse that power, and it should be taken out of their hands. MPs clearly consider themselves rather special, priviliged even, when in fact they should be reminded they are no more than our representatives. We can't all fit into Parliament so we elect people to speak on our behalf. Let's remind them at the next voting opportunity.

I am repaying money I was overpaid by a government agency and faced prosecution until that organisation realised they had given me incorrect information, but these people will undoubtedly escape scot-free in yet another whitewash.

If as they claim, our MPs represent the people, they are not above the law and where there is evidence, those who abused the system must be prosecuted and barred from public office.

I will not vote for any party which contains such deceitful people, so my options in the forthcoming election are extremely limited.

This country has been brough to its knees by those intent on feathering their own nests and our political system is now the laughing stock of the civilised world.

By andrew.. Posted May 17 2009 at 2:11 PM.

I agree with the comments of setting up hostels/flats for MPs who have to travel for work.
All of this just goes to show that imoral people are running our country, and getting away with taking what they want, when they want.
I think we should put them all in a big barrel in the middle of the Altantic ocean, and whoever is the most resourceful and survives the sharks, can go back to Parliament, but on a sensible wage/travel allowance, but that's ALL. By the way, I see how cleverly Gordon Brown hasn't come forward on his claim expenses. Is he the only one not doing it? I think not!

By Miss R Brown.. Posted May 17 2009 at 12:16 PM.

MPs are now professional 'politicians' in it for the money. Don't tell me over £60,000 plus expenses isn't a very good salary , especially with a fantastic pension. Most MPs are not in the least 'special' people, some are highly qualified, for example, barristers, but they carry on working and earning a small fortune as well as occasionally putting in a few hours at Westminster. No MP should be allowed a second job, they have enough to do as our representatives. All MPs should have to have worked in a job BEFORE becoming an MP so they know what life is like away from the Ivory Towers of Westminster.
Get rid of them all. Get rid of all expenses. Allow MPs living outside Greater London to claim travel, NOT first class, to London, and provide them with a room in a hotel (NOT the Hilton). Stop expecting the taxpayer to pay for FOOD and house repairs, antiques, ...who do these people think they are!!!!
And finally, NO SALARY INCREASE - isn't £60, 000 enough?

By Sam.. Posted May 17 2009 at 12:23 PM.

Disgusting. How can any honest person justify these expenses? When is the British public going to do something about how our country is run? These are not employees of multi-national corporations that can throw money away as they choose. This is money from hard working families. How many doctors/emergency services personnel could be employed using the money they deem appropriate to waste on their own living costs?! They should all be ashamed...utterly ashamed.

By colin self.. Posted May 17 2009 at 1:18 PM.

I am on a state Pension , I have come up with the answer over claims by the mps. All the people inthe country buy any thing and send the bill to the house of commons and ask for thier mony back.
Or better still sack the lot and call a new election right away and state to all the new mps that any
payments wrongly collected and they face criminal
charges in the courts and they will be band from
public office of any kind. Come on Britan stand up and be counted.

By Tony Wicks.. Posted May 17 2009 at 1:15 PM.

I will be voting for the BNP party next time around. We need the PEOPLES party so that we can claim the expenses back from the MP's who are in the government. If the ordinary working person did what they did, we would be up in court and in prison.
You silly MP's should not be claiming in the first place, you MP's are ALL earning WELL over the limit. Do not give any excuses about you need this and that, you can do without like we have to on our wages of £12,000 or less a year.
£70,000 for expenses a year, are you having a laugh? This amount of money could pay for someone to go to college.

By Money back guaranty.. Posted May 17 2009 at 1:10 PM.

I was interrogated on the phone and found out later that it was a lie detector they should put them on the lie detector. BTW I am living alone.

By roy.. Posted May 17 2009 at 11:49 AM.

Next week alone, I must attend two training days, in London and Manchester. The cost of the latter is £250. I must attend a job interview, for which my travel expenses will be reimbursed. On top of that, I am likely to be summoned to another school at the other side of London, to view the provision in question prior to their shortlisting candidates for interview; the expense incurred will not be covered by any quarter. And the, to cap it all, I must decide if renewing my subscription to my trade paper- ie £11 per quarter- now that it has been confirmed that 15,000 extra support staff were employed in British schools last year at a time when, despite popular perception, the number of teachers within the system actually fell by about 3,500.

Having left Ireland as a teenager in the teeth of one recession only to be caught on on graduating with a degree by a second one, I can't believe that I have now been struck by lightning again. Indeed, my prior experiences helped me to spot the trend of hiring lesser qualified and unqualified staff (up to SENCo, HOD and SMT level) in the Midlands and the North, and the less said about the glut of probationers north of the border scotching candidates with more appropriate qualifications, experience and form of registration the better.

By kt o'connor.. Posted May 17 2009 at 11:47 AM.

Time for EVERY council in the UK, Scotland, England, Wales, etc; to be investigated with regard to their finances. How jobs are 'created' for 'yes-men' who don't really have the qualifications, but just enables them to move up the ladder, staff timekeeping (ie staff who are supposed to be out 'on site' but are doing their shopping, running errands etc etc) eg planners and the like, and certain staff where flexi time is in force are owing umpteen hours of time, or where Departments have a restructuring every so on, and management give themselves a pay increase at the same time; and of course, expenses that may be claimed by staff or councillors. Or where a senior person retires on full pension package and is brought back as a 'consultant'. Or when they want a specific person to get a job a job description is tailored to that person's capabilities, advertised internally to make sure no better candidate applies. They would deny this, strongly refute this, but this is what happens. Auditors for the Council's should not tell them when they are going in, it gives the Departments time to put their house in order. Audits should be impromptu, and independent as well.

Our forefathers fought for the right to vote. Do not give up that right. Use your vote but do not vote for the LIBLABCON party. Vote for independents, UKIP and dare I say it BNP. I dont like the BNP but is not the party who have brought this nation to its knees. Its the LIB LAB CON group who have been sitting in Parliament doing nothing. They query Prescots Stetson and Cowboy suit. We strain at gnats but swallow camels whole. The Conservatives nor the Liberals ask questions about the Gorilla in the room about EU corruption where not only £billions but £Trillions are unaccounted for. This bankrupt nation spends £40million a day = £14Billion a year = £190 billions over 14 year that according to the Auditors is 95% missing.
Mr Brown sold half = 400 tons of our already small gold reserves at $270oz while it reached $1070oz costing this nation over £10 billions in lost profits.
According to the Official World Gold Council April 2009 figures : America has over 8300 tons of Gold, France, Germany and Italy 2400 tons each while Britain has just bigger reserves than mighty Lebanon that has 280 tone and Britain has only 320 tons of Gold. Are we in trouble? YES! Bet your boots we are. We pay higher interest nationally than these countries for our loans. We are in a big mess.
Vote in the coming election for any other party other than LibLabCon party. Phone your corrupt politician. I call him corrupt because I have never heard one of them raise up their voice in righteous anger

The Metropolitan police need to uphold the law here and prosecute the worse offenders. Infact if this had happened in Thailand, the generals would have 'relieved'the rancid and thieving politicians of their post maybe sending one or two into permanent exile,as well as freezing all their assets.
Those houses that were bought with help of the taxpayer need to be repossesed and any other ill gotten assett needs to be frozen.

If we are waiting for that poor excuse of a PM to do anything about it,forget it. When push comes to shove he is as bad as the rest, concerened with safeguarding his own narrow self-serving interests. He needs to be put out of his misery and challenged for his job by the gracious and honest Alan Johnson . If that does not work, then let the country decide by holding an early election. This has the potential to make people go get their pitch forks........

Beware that they dont try to pull further wool over our eyes. You mark my words that the `new system` of expenses will include a larger salary with less expenses to counteract it . The hidden danger here is that these parasites will have this larger salary linked to their already over generous pension scheme. They already have one of the best index linked pension schemes in this country.... and guess who is paying the tab?

What about the MP's who employ their families in jobs, what about that scam.?

By michael holt.. Posted May 17 2009 at 10:21 AM.

now you know why people get into politics, for one thing easy money and we in the public service will still be told,we have to cut backl and save money. What a joke.

We should now see what MP's have been claiming from say the 1970's upto present day.
The worst in all this is that MP's have bought ans old property making a profit and keeping it for themselves, when it is our,the publics money, bring back the stocks and put the MP's in them.
Maybe now we should do what Oliver Cromwell did and dissolve Parliament.

How much MORE of OUR money was also spent on TV advertsing campaigns trying to FALSLEY suggest the idea that "TAX DOESEN'T HAVE TO BE TAXING" and the threat of crushing OUR cars for not paying road tax while wallowing in luxuries from the cascading shower of revenue from the public, as the source of it struggle to make ends meet.

Give us all SOME of OUR money back in the form of a rebate if you have the tiniest shred of honour attributed to your existance.

How wonderful to be a politician. No expert requirements needed. I have worked to bring up a family, but now I am retired my state pension is £61.82 per week as a married woman. Try buying antiques on that!!!1

Shambolic, is what it is. MP,s certainly know the "Rules" well enough to work just inside them in many cases. Moles, moats, manure, toilet seats Oh how petty these gravy train passengers really are. How anyone mentioned in this scandal allows themselves to be addressed as "Right Honourable" is beyond comprehension. The great insulted British public have a job to do, kick them out at the next ballot box is what I say.

Surely any one banker has "fiddled"( Stock Options-etc etc etc) more in a year than all these crooks put together. Let us not forget the Bankers in our justified rage.

Is history repeating itself? Disillusioned populace, corrupt government, poverty, dishonour, political mistrust, greedy political incompetents . . . Germany 1920s. Which party was voted in?

Not possible in this country?

Trust us voters, their employers, to sort them out.
