IT'S music to your ears . . . a cut- price MP3 has thrashed the iPod in a poll of top music players.
The £39.99, 8GB SanDisk Sansa Clip was astonishingly No1 MP3 ahead of the trendy £107 iPod in the annual Reevoo Customer Choice Awards.
Reevoo.com declared the Clip the winner after studying reviews by 10,000 MP3 owners. It has the same memory as the iPod Nano-enough for 2,000 songs-but is less than half the price.
The MP3 is sold in Currys, and customers loved the no-frills look and raved about the sound quality.
Sam Bostock, of Reevoo.com, said: "The Clip offers great value at bargain bin prices."
