Secret family demand she has test
TROUBLED Kerry Katona broke down when she met her secret family for the first time last week and they told her: "Take a DNA test to prove you're our sister."
The reality star took her MTV crew to the meeting she'd organised after our revelation last week that she had a half-sister and four brothers she knew nothing about.
But her relatives refused to be filmed-and asked Kerry to take a test to prove they are related.
A source close to her said: "It was hardly the greeting she wanted. She couldn't help but cry-the nerves and emotion got to her. But she agreed to have the test."
The ex-Atomic Kitten took husband Mark Croft to the meeting at a pub in Wigan on Tuesday night.
We told last Sunday that her biological father Ron Armstrong, 62, who had an affair with Kerry's mum, died of cancer recently, before Kerry could meet him. His stunned widow, Joyce, 55, sons Ian, 27, and Paul, 25, and daughter Lindsay, 34, agreed to see her-but MINUS the crew making her fly-on-the-wall documentary.
Our source said: "They don't want to be dragged into the crazy celebrity circus so the camera woman spent the night waiting outside. The producers were furious.
"But after the initial awkward moments things got easier. Kerry realised she was the spitting image of her half-sister and they agreed to meet again-she got on well with her.
"In Kerry's mind they are her family."

When she split up with Brian she went to her home town of Warrington to build her relationships with old friends and family. In the celeb world it's normally good to be with people who keep you grounded. However, in Kerry's case she just went worse as she is surrounded by Jeremy Kyle candidates! She's probably better socialising with celeb friends who maybe the only genuine friends she has and get her life back on track.

The producers were furious? I'm sorry, but i can hardly believe, that would the producers be in the same position as this family, they would NOT have a hard time letting these people in, with a camera to film every detail. It's sickening to see, how far people will go for ratings.

Oh blah blah blah, I am so sick of Kerry Katona and her pointless life!! I bought OK mag in the week where is branded that Kerry was divorced as an 'buy' in headline, infact in the mag it was an anso worthless read of an article about her and that husband mark of hers and how they are fine! I can't blame them from not wanting to be filmed, i would run a mile if she was related to me. I would be furious for the press intrusion. She cant do anything without a camera being in her face. She's always blaming her past, but shes very happy to ruin her own kids lifes. Being in rehab etc, surely thats brilliant for her own kids, and the camera crew around 24/7, great role model Kerry, you must feel so proud.

I dont think the press feel sorry for her, they see a woman stupid enough to enjoy the limelight at her one expense. While we may get sick of reading and watching about her, people still do it, time to switch off, a drop in ratings will soon end the limelight.

You can't really blame them......I'm sick of the press feeling sorry for her. She's had enough of a chance. I suffer from Depression so do thousands of other women...I've probably got Bipolar which is undiagonsed but it doesn't give you leeway to be rude or obnoxious or take advantage of the breaks life has gave you. I'm sick of people making excuses for people who should know better.
I lost a baby about 4 years ago and this woman takes the biscuit....she has 4 kids and clearly takes any good she has in her life for advantage....she had a rough childhood...so bloody what??? I came from near the same way and had a rough childhood as well....so do millions of other people but because she's famous everyone has to feel sorry for her???grow the hell up!!
