If the woman has mental health problems, then fair enough, this was an accident waiting to happen. However, if she is proven to be of sound mind then she should be sued by the zoo for breach of protocol and unnecessarily endangering the lives of others. Anyone who rules that the bears themselves should be punished or destroyed should be given to the poor things as their last meal. The fact that this crazy wench is fat is neither here nor there, although for me it does always add that extra little bit of comedic value to the whole thing. Never mind wasting time with ropes, next time it happens, just use a gaff.

would just like to say the women if she had any brains at all should not have jumped in to pet the polar bears. They are wild animals most get prepared to go back to the wild and out of zoos, they are very territorial, not animals to be trained, and it dont matter if they are fed enough, the women entered their territory. If you went in a lion enclosior where lions are fully fed, they would kill you or try to as you are in there teritory same applys to garillas, strong animals and preditors are only use to their zoo keeper who feeds and looks after them.
These people on here who feels sorry for stupid people who want to pet big wild preditor animals who are not use to people entering thier territory need their heads read and i have no sympathy for her. or you.

Respect zoo animals, most are endangered and hope to return to the wild, the a rehibilitation program and they should not be punished for other peoples stupid actions.

I can't believe how stupid people are. Same thing happened here in the states except it was a tigers cage. 3 teens old enough to know better were drunk and on drugs jumped the tigers cage wall and tormented the poor tiger and killed one of the teens. Did I feel sorry for them hell no. The 2 survivors sued the zoo and won how crazy was that!!!! Like I said stupid people BTW the tiger was killed.
