A million trees on way

Schools across nation to get free seeds

MORE than 30,000 primary and secondary schools across the UK will soon get enough FREE seeds to plant over a MILLION trees.

Our campaign, in partnership with the Forestry Commission, is detailed on our new website seedsforschools.org

Schools don't have to do anything to get their seeds-the packs will come to them.

But those who do register their interest via the site will be entered into a prize draw to win a total of £10,000 worth of learning resources from the brilliant Tesco For Schools & Clubs programme.

This lets ALL shoppers collect vouchers to redeem a range of equipment, from computers to sports goods. In the week of April 20, each school will get around 400 seeds - a mixture of Scots pine, alder and silver birch.

Delivery is courtesy of Royal Mail who also back this campaign and have a range of their own green initiatives.

We hope that kids across the UK will nurture the seeds until they grow into seedlings or shoots, then take them out to businesses in their communities where they can grow into trees.
