WORN-OUT Haley Batty is suffering from an amazing sleeping sickness that really does keep her boyfriends up all night.

A medical condition means she can't help pestering them for sex from bedtime till dawn. But she's ASLEEP all the time-and never remembers a thing in the morning.

And, far from counting their lucky stars, the exhausted lads all do a runnner because they can't keep up with her dozing desires.

Haley, 23, explains about her condition on our video player below.

Haley's been dumped by a string of men who got the hump when they asked "Was it good for you, too?" only to get the response: "Eh?" because she'd been unconscious all night.

She sighs: "I can have sex three or four times a night if the guys have the stamina, but in the morning I won't know anything about it.

"My last boyfriend went along with it the first couple of times, but then he said it just felt peculiar being groped by someone who was asleep and dumped me." She says her behaviour is a recognised medical condition. "I discovered the name for it, sexsomnia. It's like a form of sleepwalking, only you don't sleepwalk, you have sex."

Haley first showed symptoms at 19, when she moved into a flat with a girl pal. Haley says: "She told me I was moaning and groaning like I was making love to someone. She'd come in to see if I was okay and I'd be on my own writhing in my sleep." After a year of it, the girl asked Haley to move out. "She was shattered. My moaning was waking her up several nights a week."

Soon after Haley, a barmaid from Barnsley, South Yorks, discovered what was up. "I had a silly one-night stand at a boy's house. We had sex and it was great and then fell asleep. The next day he said, 'Why are you not tired?'"

When she told him it was because she'd had a good night's sleep, he replied: "No you didn't. You were at it with me until six this morning."

Haley says: "I laughed, but I knew absolutely nothing about it and that freaked me out."

Since then, she says, a string of lovers have found her sexsomnia a big turn-off.

"My last boyfriend dumped me because of it. He moved in with me and the first morning he woke up and said, 'You were rampant last night. You couldn't keep your hands off me'. He looked shattered and I explained about the sexsomnia. He laughed and said he'd look forward to more of that but I knew it would soon weird him out. In the end he couldn't cope and moved out."

Another boyfriend was upset when she told him she'd been fast asleep during his sex marathon.

"He completely freaked out. He thought I was mocking his prowess in bed. He told me he never wanted to see me again."

She's now under the doctor and seeking treatment from a psychotherapist and at a sleep clinic.

Haley adds: "It's a horrible feeling to wake up next to someone not knowing what you've been doing with them. All I want is to have a normal sex life and to be awake when I'm doing it."

Well Kate , Efex , Duncan , you should get out more , if she wants to go national thats up to her , yes it is a real ******* condition , i know 'cus i have it . Before you go off on one i'm a 43 year old bloke who's been married for 18 years but luckily my wife understands there's nothing i can do about it and i'm happy to sleep downstairs if she asks. I hope you realise this is almost like rape and we can feel ashamed of not being able to control ourselves with the peole we love.

I suffer from this to im only 18 but i have had to deal with it since i was about 15, I dont think there is anything wrong at all with this many of my exs have found it a turn on and no one has ever dumped me because of my Sexsomnia. I lose control of wot im doing while asleep but i have woken up and ppl have told me wot i have been doing with myself at 1st i didnt believe it but now i no wen i have done it.

don't worry girl i've lived with my hubby for 20 years with this condition it took alot of working out but we get by fine. I just have to go and sleep down stairs if I'm not in the mood for it, and over the years I've said no and he just turns over and forgets it. I treat it like, I 've got a boyfriend and its a very different relationship, and I'm not cheating on the hubby, am I???

2 - let the boyfriend know whether he's allowed to crawl into bed with you while you're sleeping if he's up for it. (Decide in advance what is allowed and what is not allowed.)

Sadly, this is a real condition, my last girlfriend thought I was crazy because every night about 10-15minutes after I started snoring I'd roll over and grab and tug at her. Many nights I was waken by her yelling at me, it got so bad in fact that I tried things such as wearing clothes to bed, it eventually got to where when we slept I wrapped myself up in a king sized sheet like a mummy and put the open part under my butt so that I'd have to roll like 4 times one direction to get out.

This still didn't solve the problem and we eventually broke up.

Although there was no definitive medical opinion offered for Haley's unusual behavior there are documeted experiences of other women with similar consequences. Doesn't this mean she'll qualify for some sort of full-pension disability. She'll still be getting it (and even more, perhaps, because she won't have to work any more and can thus sleep in (or on) still longer), but the taxpayers will get it from her, too, only financially and without the satisfaction of climax.

ive kinda got the same condiction as you. My ex girlfriend at the time used to tell me i used to pester her for sex when she was asleep and i used to basicly hump her legs like i was having sex. in the morning she would say wot i did but i just couldnt remember. Im only 22 myself and its very embarrassing wen you spend a first nite with someone special.

Sexsomina is a very real and very serious condition, especially if guys have it. There was a documentary about it on tv and one guy ended up trying to rape a girl because of it. He was at a party and fell asleep. The next day he heard that a girl had been sexually assaulted and he knew from previous girlfriends that he would pester them in his sleep for sex so to be on the safe side he handed himself into the police and the girl ID'd him as her attacker. He then started consulting psychologists and started to understand his condition.

Just because you don't understand something, does not make it any less real. If someone had a sleepwalking problem, they would be given help but because this has to do with sex and she is a girl, she is judged and ridiculed.
