Just days after Jermain Defoe and Chantelle Houghton were snapped tenderly smooching on holiday, just weeks after she told pals, 'He's the one' . . . it's all OVER.
And the role with as much job security as a Premiership manager in the bottom three is up for grabs again.
Chantelle dropped the England and Spurs star from her side- because she feared the free-scoring ace would play away.

Just a week ago she and Jermain-recovering from a broken toe-were seen kissing on a romantic Dubai break.
But soon after their return she gave him the elbow in an emotional phone call after fretting about his close relationships with female friends. A pal said: "He's a difficult guy to trust. She was always worrying what he was up to."
Jermain, 26, has a history of cheating on girlfriends and could make his own five-a-side team of WAGS, plus a sub.
Players joining Chantelle would include ex-fiancée Charlotte Mears, Danielle Lloyd, David Beckham's little sister Joanne, glamour girl Sarah Giggle and ex-Big Bruv star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace.
The friend revealed: "Chantelle has never really been sure about Jermain. He has a string of girl 'friends' and is always on the phone. Most genuinely are his friends. But Chantelle just wants a quiet life with a man she can trust." The £60,000-a-week striker tried to reassure her there would be no foul play-he once claimed "everyone thinks I'm a love rat, but I'm a good Catholic boy".
But 32DD former Celebrity Big Brother champ Chantelle decided it was game over.
Of course, the credentials of those previously on Defoe's WAG team are clear-blonde and impressive up front. Hairdresser JOANNE BECKHAM, 27, had an on-off relationship with him for two years from 2001 and they enjoyed extra time last year.
CHARLOTTE MEARS, 22, was engaged to him, and he splashed out £63,000 on a ring before dumping her in January 2008. DANIELLE LLOYD, 25, was the substitute but she later claimed Jermain had THREE-TIMED her. Single mum Stephanie Moule, 26, was in talks to sign, claiming she had been his secret lover for seven years. Meanwhile blonde SARAH GIGGLE, 25, said he was on loan to her while he was dating Danielle.
Chantelle started her run in November after her split from Ordinary Boys hubby Preston. And AISLEYNE HORGAN-WALLACE, 30, makes it on to the bench after hinting at a bit of nifty footwork.
She teased: "He's in the prime of his life ."

It the same story all over. Women who are prepared to throw themselves at anyone with money.
Doesn't matter if the star is a footballer, singer, Billionaire, Multi -Millionare and married, just look at the stories in today's NOTW. 24 year old model is the mistress to 5 Rich lovers.
So less of the colour racial sterotyping, let's not forget that in his day Teddy Sheringham was exactly the same as Jermaine Defoe.
There will always be WAGS as long as there is money and media interest. Some of these WAGS have gone on to make some kind of career for themselves

Defeo is a male version of bimbo, he is bimboy and will have MILLIONS of weman throwing them selfs at his feet so can pick and choose ANY woman he want at click of his fingers.
Currently with such a high profile Chantelle will never find any one who wants her for "her", she will probably get people who want her for her fame and fortune.
If Chantelle wants a "normal" guy she better leave the Lime light, get back to reality and find some one "normal" in her own town.
As there are countless men out there who would be over the moon with Chantelle as their wife, but don't go near her now as they feel she will say no to them or dump them the second another Bimboy comes flashing his cash.
She should not be so shallow and rule out normal guys up to their mid 40s who would be faithful to her and would be over the moon to win her heart.
