The crocked ex-Emmerdale star texted her choices despite being in agony after injuring herself practising for tonight's show.
Roxanne, 26, said: "I was so disappointed I couldn't join the judging in person. I'd studied the shortlisted nominations and they were inspirational."
She had been training to do lifts with professional ice dance partner Daniel Whiston when the accident happened-the day BEFORE she was due to join our other judges and select the winners.

Doubled over in pain, devastated Roxanne sobbed to Dan: "I've just popped something- my rib."
She was taken to hospital on Tuesday night and admitted the injury had knocked her confidence. "My scores are getting worse each week. I'm completely doubting myself," she said. "But I'm just going to be brave and carry on."

But while Roxanne was devastated to miss out picking the Children's Champions with fellow judges-who include PM's wife Sarah Brown, Olympic heroes Lord Coe and Dame Kelly Holmes, and Royal Mail chief executive Adam Crozier-she has vowed to be at our awards ceremony on March 4.
She said: "I'm looking forward to congratulating the families and individuals in person next month."
Children's Champions , supported by the Post Office and their charity partners Barnardo's, honours those who work above and beyond the call of duty for youngsters.
Winners will meet Gordon Brown at Downing Street before a star-studded gala dinner. The ceremony will be shown on Sky 1 at 4pm on March 8.
The Post Office has set up funditfrog.co.uk/funds/71 in aid of Barnardo's.
