I think she's just being realistic. The fact is that kids are going to experiment with drugs and the only thing people can do is make sure that they're doing it safely. Parents need to create an environment in which their kids feel they can come to them. Then maybe instead of sticking dirty needles of poor quality smack in their arms they'll experiment somewhere safer, where they'll have access to medical attention.

it used t be an amazing drug back in the early 90's but now you can take 10 e's ad not feel even a little buzz even if youve been clean for over year

She is quite right. Ecstasy is safer than alcohol or cigarettes and the responsible parent would ensure that if their kids are going to try it then they are under parental supervision the first time, just as they should with alcohol.

ITs crazy to hear the comments on here about taking drugs! do you smoke? do you drink alcohol? these drugs kill more people than all the recreational drugs put together and they are legal!
If someone wants to mess with there body and take drugs whether there legal or not its there choice, i dont moan at people smoking in the street, puffing away with there toxic fumes that i can smell, putting there nubs out on the floor, as if to say i'm a smoker i can put it out anywhere.
Or the drinker who has a couple to many and pukes in an alley or in a club, starts a fight, or just collapses because they drank to much!!
Its your life live it as you see fit and leave others to do the same!!

Maybe it was brought on with the help of illicit drugs but each individual makes their own decision's. It's plain and simple, Amy has lost all self control to a stage where its probably irrepearable. i dont condone her comments, however I admire her honesty (if only i could admire her 'music' as much - I find her quite talentless really).

All the posters here who say "she wouldnt say that if she had kids" should look to her honesty and see if they can admit to the same lack of hypocrisy.

the simple fact is that the difference between the number of people who are honest enough to admit to drug taking and seek open and honest discussion on the matter, and the number of people who actually take drugs, just makes us into a nation of hypocrites.

I say MORE HONESTY, LESS DENIAL, no matter what the opinions are. the price of freedom of speech is that we will sometimes hear things we dont like or agree with.
