The News of the World says..

What is just a name to Harry is in fact a slur to many

PRINCE HARRY'S 'Paki' and 'raghead' slurs would be insensitive from anyone, let alone the third in line to the throne.

They are also bitterly disappointing.

After Harry wore Nazi uniform to a fancy-dress party in 2005 he issued an apology we all hoped was heartfelt.

"I've learnt my lesson," he insisted. "I'm very sorry if I offended anybody. I'd like to put it in the past. Maybe it was a sign of my immaturity. Something like that I will never do again."

To argue, as the Prince's spokesman does in a statement, that 'Paki' is his colleague's nickname and 'raghead' is an accepted Army term cannot entirely excuse those words.

Certainly, this will horrify Army chiefs who are still fighting hard to erase racist remarks from the ranks.

And the country is entitled to ask whether, for all his grit fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan, our loose- cannon prince will ever really change his ways.

Just as his Nazi uniform insulted everyone who went to war for King and country, so these outbursts amount to conduct unbecoming an officer and an affront to thousands from ethnic minorities who proudly fight for Britain in the war against terror.

They deserve our complete respect. And his.

Harry will no doubt apologise again - and the nation will be keen to forgive a very likeable young man.

But this time he has to mean it.

Real price of Primark

CUT-PRICE Primark trades on its claims of high ethical principles.

Yet we have found slave labour- like conditions among their suppliers, with miserly £3-an-hour pay rates for illegal immigrants.

These garment sweatshops were not in a backstreet Asian slum - but in Manchester.

Now, following our investigation, Primark have been ordered to remove their coveted Ethical Standards endorsements pending a full inquiry.

Let this be a warning to every big business on the High Street: the News of the World is watching.

Piggy-Back To Black

PICTURE IT. You've saved thousands for your dream Caribbean holiday.

You're dressed for dinner in your exclusive hotel when a drunken, tattooed wild woman with dirty feet and unwashed bra jumps you from behind, demands a piggy-back then breaks into a chorus of Puppy Love.

Still, look on the bright side.

At least you've met Amy Winehouse on one of her good days.

whist I have little time for the royals anyone who has been in the armed forces will know that none of the so called pc names attributed to harry have little meaning. this country is slowly sinking into a morass of stupidity. I would gladly leave this country if i could afford to live abroad.

I feel relly sorry for Harry. Everybody from a disfunctional family should be given a chance. But to ridicule your commander in chief!
Nobody seems to realise the institutional racism is when you make racialist remarks, and they are so normal, you can't see anything wrong.
If Harry gets lots of publicity when he does something good, thats fine, but when if is stupid and breaks the law, he should be made an example.
He should be courtmartialed, to show all other groups the army means what it say. Anything else is a whitewash.
Ps If you were the guy so insulted would you complain to Harry's mum who happens to be Commander in Chief

You have to be kidding me. You can't expect soldiers to be PC. Dehumanizing the enemy is military 101. You can't expect soldiers to kill the enemy if they see their mothers, friends, and neighbors every time they look through their rifle scope. If you actually look at what happened during WWII, which somehow has become romaticized as the last honorable war, you'll see that Allied forces were far more brutal than in any of the gulf wars or afghanistan. Can you imagine if they had to deal with the modern media and obsession with PC?

The other thing that is truly amazing this is all about a couple words? If people are going to get all bent out of shape over this, shouldn't they really be upset about the war and the death toll on all sides. For all those that are upset about this, would you really be happier if Harry were just politely, respectfully, killing people within the rules of engagement?

The whole thing is out of proportion with everyone is becoming unnecessarily hysterical. We've been called limeys by the Americans and poms by the Australians for years without feeling insulted as have the yanks. It's time this new breed of super sensitives grew up.

prince harry keeping it real! this is british humour through and through, it's a country by were you can call your friends by a derogatory name in a suggestion of closeness, notice at the end of the film the other cadet making the comment about Harry having ginger pubes.....QUICKLY CALL THE POLITICALLY CORRECT CREW. Don't think i'd have to many politically correct terms for an enemy who wouldn't think twice about cutting my head off and putting that on video! Harry for King!!!!!
