A FURIOUS company boss has BLASTED former telly golden girl Anthea Turner - claiming she has left his firm £100,000 out of pocket.
Managing director Dean Robbins, 41, hit the roof when he read our story last week telling how the Perfect Housewife star wept over losing her interior design firm to the credit crunch.
We revealed Anthea, 48, had drained £1.2MILLION from Imagine Furnishings as it lurched toward ruin.
She and her failed property magnate hubby Grant Bovey, 47, carried on racking up vast debts they could NOT hope to repay.
Mr Robbins raged: "If I saw them in the street I'd be close to punching Grant. They put at risk a company I've been building up since 1989. How can anyone do business with them ever again?"
Bovey has seen three of his firms go bust this year. Speaking from their £5m Surrey mansion last week, he insisted Imagine Furnishings was not Anthea's firm but his.
But Dean, who employs 120 people at his firm Pinetum in Warminster, Wilts, said: "It was very much Anthea's project.
"I started doing business with her four years ago. She'd wander around the workshop 'imagining' her designs. It would be, 'I like this fabric' or 'Can you make something with these features on it?' We bent over backwards to supply what she wanted."
But earlier this year it all went sour when Bovey gave the firm a £40,000 cheque which bounced then asked for more credit.
Dean says Bovey promised to pay £50,000 but backed out of the deal. Now his firm has joined a long list of creditors waiting to see if they'll be paid anything.
Last night the couple directed all questions to their firm's administrators, who said: "Pinetum's claim will be dealt with in the normal way."

Im totally shocked that someone who is in the public eye can treat someone they do buisness with so apalling ! your supposed to be setting an example, we are all brought up with the basics.......try not to get into debt, and def dont take what you can not pay for! im sure that anthea new this when she carried on getting into more debt, some ppl work v hard for what they have, and no mr robbins has ! so the bottom line line is ....never trust the damn woman again ....ever....talk is cheap in this day n age :o(

The Bovy-Turners might gain a tiny bit of respect from the public if they sell their house and pay off their debts. I am not sure why there are laws to allow RICH people to keep their homes when they have borrowed beyond their means and have huge business debts. Normal people are losing their homes left, right and centre but Kerry Katona goes bankrupt and keeps her house and 5 cars, and this rancid couple keep their 5m house, and manage to stash away over 1m from their failing business. HOW?
Why anyone that rich wouldn't have bought a house for cash outright rather than a beyond their means mortgage, I don't know, it just shows what poor business people they actually are!!

I remember all the publicity at the time bovey left his wife and 3 children for anthea,I was in a similar situation at that time and can fully understand what della was going thru,but what bovey and turner did then digusted me,they made a load of money from ok magazine by having a large wedding then froliking in spain with boveys 3 girls.Della must have suffered beyond imagination,they deserve all they get,I have no sympathy for them

I've always tried to be like Anthea- I do a lot of cooking and try to keep my home immaculate. My husband also has several businesses, and it would be fair to say that we are extremely comfortable financially. I don't understand why everyone is attacking Anthea over this- I certainly would do the same and in fact we have forced the closure of several of our creditors over the years in order to stay afloat. It is their fault for trusting us from the outset- business is business, and if companies fail and jobs are lost because we trying to keep our lifestyle then so be it. These people have nothing to be ashamed of- in fact, they are an inspiration for those who are jobless today.

Get over yourselves. If you were in the same position (which I doubt you ever will be) you would do the same. This is just the world of business and it happens everywhere - they are not unique! Sure, it's a shame for the creditors (the ones that they owe money to) but I'm sure the company's balance sheet will show debtors as well (people who OWE THEM money too). There are far worse thieves in the world ( politicians etc) so keep it in perspective and stop believing everything you read in the papers! Life's tough, face it. As they say, a fool and his money....
