Introducing the credit crunch-busting Varnam Q3, which is a new motion sensor box based on the Wii but at £89.99 it's almost HALF the price of the Nintendo beast.
The simple plug-and-play console is small, easy to set up and even easier to use.
It comes fully pre-loaded with 40 fun games like tennis, swimming, golf and snow boarding, which are all controlled by waving around the dinky little Q3 wireless remote.
Many of the titles have been clearly influenced by the Wii's successful Sports and Sports Resort titles, which sees you work out your cool little avatar.
But what really stands out on the Q3 are the arcade games that have a classic 80s Commodore 64 feel to them (or the Mega Drive, for all you young'uns out there).
All round, it's not a bad little toy. Can it compete with the Wii? Er, of course not. Regarding the quality of game, it's not in the same league.
But then again, that's not the point of this machine. It's designed as a cheaper alternative to Wii's gaming giant.
The Q3 is a perfect prezzie for children - and small enough to take round Gran's to keep them entertained (the kids, that is, not Gran).
