Many people who aren't related look alike. Many people who ARE related don't look anything alike. I have light skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes, and both of my parents, and my brother have black hair and brown eyes. Plus, I know a lot a mixed people who are very light, and have siblings who are very dark, so it doesn't matter. Mark Lester is just trying to find fame because the last thing he ever did was Oliver, and we all know that was such a big hit!

He's probably smart enough to know that this does not entitle him to money. MJ is the DAD but him wanting to have contact with his so thought biological daughter after her loss should be an instinctual reaction from any person thinking they have an offspring out there in need of any kind. From the video the families were close when MJ was alive an contact has been cut off. If I were a man thinking I was the father of a child in wealth or in poor I'd want to be there regardless. I don't see any resemblence between Paris and Mark Lester. Paris is all Michael in my eyes. She has his curls, his nose, and shes not ghostly white. If you put her up against La Toya, they have the same skin tone. Paris may have blue eyes like Lester and his daugther, but so does her biological mother, Debbie Rowe. Prince and Blanket also look exactly like Michael, those eyes dont lie. If Lester wants a paternity test, then so be it. But if he tries to separate those kids for money, thats the worst thing they could ever do. They need to be together right now. Paris is taking her father's death the hardest, so let her be. To them Michael was the only father they've ever known. He will always be their father.

Keep in mind that Lester is the godfather of the children. In other words, though he wasn't assigned custody, he was expected to be involved in their welfare. Apparently this wasn't settled well with the custodians of Jackson's children (Ma Jackson). He's just upped the ante in one way. Maybe he's doing it for the money, but MJ knew what he was doing when he both asked Lester to be godfather and sperm donor. He obviously trusted the guy. I don't think any of us knows enough to comment on Mark Lester.

I don't understand why such harsh criticism against Mark Lester. The fact is the fact. He is willing to take a parternal test. I think Jackson family might have put restriction on his contact with the children, so he had to make this public plea. I don't blame him at all. And contrary to the accusations, Mark does not need the money. He is one of the very few show biz people who pursued and aquired a real skill and job. I am very respectful for Mark and I am happy for the Jackson kids to have such a loving person as their dad, than the unscrupuous dermatologist.

Under California Law these children were born during a legal marriage and the father is therefore the legal parent .
It does not matter if Mr.Lester's statement is true. In life people tried to remain famous by either being a friend and or foe of MJ.
If this statement is an attempt to remain in contact with these children then his poor judgement in making this public is a good reason to keep them away from him.
I don't know if MJ is the biological parent but he is the legal parent and these people and this discussion needs to stop. I can not imagine me having a child by artificial insemination or adoption and having the world interfere in my life and those of my children.
Too many people seem to think that being the biological parent is important, it is not!!!. Ask any adopted child who their father is, I can guarantee that unless that child was abused in some way then the man who raised him is his Dad/ Father.
I don't know what Mr. Lester's true intentions are but too many are looking to start careers, revive careers or have access to the children's money if they think they can gain custody of them.
We all need to let these kids be.They are sad at the loss of their father, give them some peace.

It sounds possible and believable. But at the end of the day, the truth will come out no matter what I want to believe true. I am just thankful that DNA test are available and I am sure that the Jackson family will surely want to prove what is true about the children for Michael's stories to be cleared as true.

IF, they do not allow these children's DNA to be done, then they will block any DNA tests, which means to me, that they will protect Jackson's lies; which, I am leaning to believe that they have done in the past, I am sorry to say.

As for being a sperm donor, and coming forth after a parent dies and divulging the truth about the parentage of a child... THIS is something completly different people. In this situation, this child... these children have people fighting over them for MONEY. They don't have anyone really fighting for them that want them for the right reasons in my opinion.

If Mark Lester was a 'loyal friend' to Michael he would have gone about this in a more discreet manner..He may well be a 'sperm-doner' and he may well be the biological father of Paris but it was Michael who raised those kids..It was Mike who was a father to those children in all the ways that count..What does Mark hope to gain by this?? Was he left out of Mikes will?? Does he think that if he can prove himself the biological father of Paris that he may stand to inherit some large fortune?? In an interview I read, Mark stated that Michael was a very generous friend..That on returning home from a holiday with Mike and his kids..The Lester's brought with them 22 crates of gifts..Michael had gone and spent a fortune on them..Mike would also fly the Lester's around the world to be with him first class no less..I am personally disgusted with Lester..He is dispicable in every sense of the word. Whatever the truth, the children should be told at some point who their biological parents are.

In these days of political correctness, in the UK you aren't normally allowed to adopt children of different ethnicity to your own. Presumeably there are good reasons for this.

If both their biological parents were white, as seems very likely, I don't know how this effects the Jackson family's suitability to continue to bring up the children who may have no legal or biological relationship to MJ or his family at all.

That should in no way diminish their memories of MJ if they had a loving and caring upbringing.

It must however have a bearing on what the US fasmily court decides should happen to them through the remainder of their childhood.

When they are older they can, of course, chose what relationships they want to maintain.

legally they would have been MJ's children because when the biological father made his donation, the sperm essentially became the property of MJ, just as any organ donated would have. So although there wasn't a genetic relationship between MJ and his kids he wouldn't have needed to adopt them

Mark Lester is a very reasonable person. He has come forward in frustration because his attempts to maintain his ongoing contact with his Godchildren have been thwarted and because he is concerned about their circumstances.The children have a right to know who their biological parents are and also their ethnicity. From a medical point of view alone, it is very risky for a person not to know their biological background. I am surprised that courts in California can allocate custody without even determining the biological parentage of children and that 80 year olds can parent kids.

I thought Mark's comments were very loving and caring and I see no harm in this at all...some of you people have major anger issues :/ He is godfather to Michael's kids and why would they be hurt about this? They WANT to see Mark and his family...their father has passed away and they want to be around people who they love and are close to and Mark and his family are one of them...I hope they get to see more of the Lester's because they seem like a very kind caring family...and that's THAT!

If the WACO used this guys sperm AND made this guy the kids of that sperm the kids Godparent, then this isnt just any sperm donner. He did not walk away and in fact was invited in to play a role in these Childrens lives regardless that he may in fact also be the Childrens biological Father.

The only reason this is coming out like this is because Michael insisted on lying about the paternity of the kids like adoption is a dirty thing. Ther's nothing wrong with adoption.

Obviously you've never seen mixed children. Take a look at Jermaine's kids. His BROTHER. The children vary in skin tone and hair textures. All of Mj's children look white except Blanket who I believe is the same race as Omer because his mother is probably the surrogate. Also Prince and Paris look like they get tans. If you look at the pictures of them when they were young, they were pale and Michael dyed Prince's hair blonde. (there were dark roots) He was brunette as a baby, beach blonde with brunette roots and eyebrows, then brunette again.

I thought a long time ago that Mark was the father of the kids. Michael Jackson and Mark were very close friends. They spent tons of time together. Mark was the Godfather to Michael's children and visa versa. They were looking forward to being together when Michael played in London. What is wrong with the kids having their own father (if Mark is the father) in their lives? Everyone needs a Dad.

Is he the Children's Godparent. Then he has every right to speak up now that Michael has passed. His role by definition is to play a role in these Children's lives when the parents pass.

it's unbelievable now don't you think? why would all of a sudden, somebody has the gut to claim that Michael's kids were his? Whether it's true or not, you have no right to voice it out at all. Paris, Prince and Blanket were Michael's babies. And from the day they were born, and grew in his care, they are his flesh and blood. So no matter what anyone claims right now, is not a big deal to show the world. Instead, keep a prayer for those children, they've suffered enough. Have pity on them!!!

I believe Mark. He has no reason to lie about this, no reason to be "hungry for Michael's money". He is simply a concerned godfather. (I would hope that the godfather of my grandchildren would want to continue seeing them and checking up on their welfare, should anything happen to their parents.) Mark is a VERY successful osteopath in Gloucestershire. LOOK IT UP. Know whereof you speak! And a "has-been"? If you'd do your homework, first of all, he CHOSE to leave show business many years ago. But he has been asked to play the lead in an upcoming film, "1066", and he has accepted. And, oh yeah, "Some friend!"?? YES, HE AND MICHAEL WERE TOO VERY CLOSE FRIENDS. MICHAEL WAS ALSO THE GODFATHER to MARK'S CHILDREN. One doesn't ask just some "hanger-on" to be the godfather of one's kids. It was, in fact, MICHAEL who asked to meet Mark back in the days when BOTH of them were very much in the spotlight. Each understood where the other was coming from. It is VERY hard to be a child star. Everyone wants a piece of you. Has it occurred to any of the nay-sayers that THESE TWO NEEDED EACH OTHER back then? If you had, say, cancer, you would want to meet other children who have cancer, because they know what you are going through. LAY OFF Mark and his family. They truly are acting out of love for a MEMBER OF THEIR FAMILY, a GOOD FRIEND. They are grieving. I can't believe the insensitivity of some of the people who responded to this news piece with such vicious words.

If this claim is true.
What may i ask gives him the right to lay any claim to the result of his donation.
This just opens the door to all donors to be able to lay claims to whatever children their sperm has created.
I thought donors had no rights?
And why may i ask has he done this publicly instead of privately? Take the paternity test first before annoncing to the world and hurting the children.
Sorry but, i can't help but believe it is all about the money as well. He wanted no claims to them before now.

You Michael Jackson fans are nuts. This guy will probably be a much better parent than Michael Jackson's mother. After all, she raised Michael, and look how well he turned out. This guy is already raising daughters. I'm sure they'd love to have another sister and it will certainly be a healthier environment than being raised by a grandmother who doesn't even share her blood. They'll never have a normal life growing up with the Jackson clan.

It doesn't appear to the layman's eye that any of MJ's children were the result of his sperm. If he were gay and couldn't conceive a child thru coitus and intromission, he could have done so easily just as Mark is saying he did. Jackson may well have chosen not to further his own DNA (or been unable to do so. )

The point being missed is to contemplate how unhappy and unfulfilled MJ must have been. He never got to find out who he was. "HE" was invented long before he ever had the chance. No one knows the impact of his supposedly cruel father, his Mother who loved him but didn't stand up for him. No one can know much of anything except that MJ didn't enjoy who he was. He spent a fortune trying to buy it thru his lifestyle and his numerous surgeries. His extraordinary performances give only a hint of the desperation he experienced as he tried so hard to live up to his billing. Impossible as every success made the eventual failure even more likely.

I feel very bad for his lost life. We get to enjoy a persona who never really existed as a human being. And that actor never got to discover himself and accept himself with his flaws. Too bad and very sad.

I hope the children will somehow have access to a life wherein they become self identified humans. I am pessimistic. I wish them well.

Mark Lester and Uri Geller seem very intent on raising their public profile off the back of this sad time for the jackson family. Yet they profess themselves to be earnest, sincere & intimate friends. What the hell would enemies do ?!.
Another case of sad has beens trying to resurrect flagging careers at any expense, obviously including their low value integrity.
Why dont they follow the usual 'pap' route of broken Britain & it's broken TV and join celeb big brother or that jungle celeb programme.

Friend? Godfather. This not sound like a concerned person to me, it sounds like a Judas at the least. If he truly had a concern, he should put it into writing through his attorney confidentially to the Jackson family. Instead he goes to worldwide media, blasting out a hurtful statement. No thoughts of how the children will feel or what effect this will have on them at this time. Timing was extremely insensitive. Mark you are a cad and no friend to Michael Jackson. Poor Michael all jerks around him.

The Jacksons are going through a very difficult time with the recent Judge's ruling in their favor to go ahead with all the merchandising contracts being negotiated before the interest in Michael Jackson wanes.
