If, like us, the best bit of your day is your mid-morning caffeine fix (preferably with a choc chip cookie on the side) this Friday, September 25, why not take your break in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support?
An estimated two million people are taking part in Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning, which the charity hopes will raise £8million to help reach more people in the UK who are affected by cancer.
And because we're currently in the middle of London Fashion Week, the clever folk at Macmillan have roped in some of our favourite fashionistas, including Alexa Chung, Jo Wood and designers PPQ, to create some limited-edition coffee trays to add a fabulous fashion twist to your tea break.
Each tray costs £25 from macmillan.org.uk/coffeeshop. We're loving Alexa's black and white doodles and PPQ's cute foxy cartoon.
To take part, just register on the Macmillan website, then host a tea party at your home or at work, serve up coffee, cakes and conversation, and ask guests to make a small contribution to the charity.
So get the kettle on!
Visit macmillan.org.uk/coffeeshop for more information on hosting your own coffee morning and to buy a limited-edition tray.
