TOP TIPS FOR OUTDOOR CHIC

Now the mercury's rising, turn your outside space into a fun place

  • Create a comfortable living area by positioning a bench or seats in a shady spot, with a small table for food and drinks. Add cushions for chilling out.
  • Simple candles and lanterns are ideal for setting a tranquil scene, while fairy lights are romantic for a party or barbecue. More sophisticated solar-powered lights are a good investment and look great draped around foliage or trees.
  • For a space that smells as good as it looks, plant fragrant herbs like lavender, mint, sage and lemon balm, along with scented geraniums, jasmine and roses.
  • Brighten up a dingy brick wall, tatty garden furniture or ugly planters with exterior paint. Try terracotta and turquoise for a Mediterranean look.

HOT TIP: Citronella-scented candles will keep insects at bay

I love "Fabulous mag" and find it informative and so interesting. Good features, ideas and advice.
I was particularly keen to get hold of the `Outdoor` prints by Graham & Brown as featured by Sally Gillam..I have tried their web site and have had no success. Any ideas or help please would be appreciated.

Thankyou
Diane.
