WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4
I'm on the Los Angeles set of Five's new
drama, FlashForward, which stars Joseph Fiennes and Jack Davenport, to watch
some real-life TV stunts. I'm trying to discover my inner stuntwoman for my
ITV1 show Fantasy Lives and hope that seeing it done for real will help. A
street's been cordoned off so a car can crash through the wall of a
building. I'm wearing very uncool protective goggles, which thankfully I
remember to remove before sexy Joseph wanders over to say hello.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7
Tonight I'm dining at LA hot spot
Cecconi's with my friend, ex-Bill actress Jane Wall. I'm tucking into my
chilli swordfish and some pinot noir when I spot Stephen Fry and Terri
Seymour. Before the rumour mill kicks in, I can confirm they weren't
together!
I pop over to say hello to Terri. She used to date Simon Cowell and is now a TV star in her own right in America. She's wearing a divine jacket which is so on trend, the shoulder pads poke out massively either side. I jokingly tell her that she looks like Sydney Opera House. She bursts out laughing and we agree to meet up soon for cocktails.

I then say hi to Stephen and notice he's with his old friend Hugh Laurie. It's official, Hugh is my new crush. He looks as rugged and sexy in the flesh as he does on his hit show House. I know I'm married, but that's my guilty secret (sorry Chris!).
Jane and I head to the Chateau Marmont Hotel on Sunset Boulevard for mojitos and continue our star-spotting by bumping into jockey Frankie Dettori. He's celebrating a win with his wife Catherine. We get talking about how much she supports him and he tells me: "I'm best friends with my wife - I hope you're best friends with your husband." They go off to gyrate on the dance floor and I notice how ripped Catherine is - she's had five children but her stomach's as flat as a pancake!
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8
I'm so hungover. When I rolled in at
1.30am, I felt fine, but when I wake up, it's a different story. A massage
just seems to churn up all the toxins and I think I'm dying. I order pesto
pasta and vanilla ice cream on room service then spend the afternoon in
recovery mode watching The Girls Of The Playboy Mansion. Bliss.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9
I'm working on a fight scene with stunt
woman Sophia Crawford, who was recently Sienna Miller's body double in G.I.
Joe: The Rise Of Cobra. She also used to do Sarah Michelle Gellar's action
scenes in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and was the Pink Power Ranger - she's a
real-life action girl!
We're re-enacting a Buffy versus Angel scene (I'm Angel) and even though I'm padded up to the nines with protection, it still hurts! I get hoisted up into a harness so I can do a triple karate kick - Uma Thurman in Kill Bill eat your heart out. It ends with Sophia throwing me off the roof of a house on to a crash mat. Annoyingly for me, Angel can't win against Buffy. Ever.
