I read about my friend, The One Show's Christine Bleakley, meeting Frank Lampard recently in Amika nightclub in London so I call to get the low-down. He sounds smart and funny - and as they're both single I tell her to go for it! Sometimes a girl just needs a bit of fun and, of course, I'm encouraging it because I've got a very vested interest in World Cup tickets! But she's her own woman. I wonder what she'll do?
The only encounter I've had with footie players was two years ago when I went to watch Everton play Manchester United at home. I wanted to meet the players and get my programme signed for a friend (honest!), but naughty Rio Ferdinand deliberately dropped the pen three times. I had to keep bending down to pick it up and couldn't resist doing my best Barbara Windsor impression. When I asked Rio where Cristiano Ronaldo was, he replied: "Ronaldo takes the longest to get ready - he likes to moisturise!" I wonder if he's taken his pampering to Real Madrid?!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31
I'm in LA for the final leg of my ITV1
Fantasy Lives show, this time training as a stuntwoman. Filming doesn't
start until Monday, but I wanted Lexi to experience Halloween out here.
We meet up with my friend, actress Jane Wall, who used to be in The Bill, and her little boy Jack, in Santa Monica. We've been invited to a house party by Jane's friend, CSI: Miami actress Emily Procter. I opt for a 'sexy' witch outfit - and end up getting spooked for real when a paparazzo leaps from a bush to take my picture. He tells me he's just papped Kate Beckinsale - so I'm in good company!
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1
Word reaches me that a magazine's suggested
I've had lip work done. Once and for all, I haven't! My lips are thinner now
than they were 10 years ago and I'd say if I'd had surgery. My nan, Ethel,
is nearly 90 and has great skin - it's all in the genes, I promise!

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2
I'm in Topanga, in the Santa Monica
Mountains, with Jeannie Epper, the queen of Hollywood stuntwomen. She's best
known as Lynda Carter's double in Wonder Woman. I have a few stunts to mull
over but I refused to do the fire stunt they suggested - accidents happen
doing stuff like that. Sarah, my character in ITV1's Wild At Heart, burned
to death and filming those scenes gave me a strange insight into a very
frightening way to die. I'm really excited about the driving stunt though -
180° spins in a rally car. Chris is hoping I'll improve my road skills. I'm
not sure how doughnut turns in my Morris Minor 1000 round the streets of
Surrey will sit with the locals... or the police!
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3
It's my first day of actual stunt work.
When I watch a girl demonstrate how to jump off a 100ft ladder on to a crash
mat, I think there's no way I can do that - but they start me off gently.
First I throw myself off a stepladder - and then move on to one the same
height as my house! I'm terrified, but remind myself that I'm in safe hands.
Launching off, I feel amazing. Now I really understand the meaning of leap
of faith!
