Yeehah! I'm in Bandera in Texas, the
cowboy capital of the world, filming the next leg of my ITV1 show Fantasy
Lives. I'm loving the Wild West thing and when we head to the firing range I
have a blast shooting green melons to pieces using a vintage pistol.
Angelina Jolie eat your heart out!

I'm suffering swine flu symptoms -
I've been puking all morning. I head to ER for a check-up and there are
signs everywhere urging sufferers to wear a face mask. I carry my own in my
handbag so duly oblige. Fortunately the doctor diagnoses me with a
bog-standard virus.
To make matters worse, I'm suffering from major homesickness. I email my friend Sarah Parish, from TV's Mistresses, telling her I'm missing home and my hubby Chris. "You think you've got it bad," she replies. "I've been in Budapest for three weeks eating goulash." Sarah's filming the TV series The Pillars Of The Earth and playing an evil witch. At least I'm not the only one missing home comforts.

Exciting news. I've secured an
interview with actress Whoopi Goldberg for my ITV1 show. I loved her in
Ghost and I can't wait to ask her about working with Patrick Swayze, bless
his Dirty Dancing soul.
I'm on an interview roll right now. Get this, ladies: I'm going to be grilling the gorgeous George Clooney! He's the voice of Mr Fox in the new Roald Dahl animated film, Fantastic Mr Fox. He's so sexy - I'll be close enough to actually smell him! I've heard that George is a bit of a joker, so I'm sure we'll get on like a house on fire.

I get a text from one of Simon's exes,
Jackie St Claire. They're having breakfast and looking at my cheeky Heels
That Heal picture in Fabulous. "I think it's all you, but Simon says you've
been airbrushed," she declares.
I text back defiantly: "I've had my tan evened out and my freckles zapped, but that's it. Simon, just go on the website to see me on film to prove it." If he needs more evidence I'll show him the real thing at his 50th birthday party. Now that would be a present and a half!

Another text, this time from Strictly
judge Bruno Tonioli, who's in LA. He's splitting his time between London and
America, filming the US version, Dancing With The Stars. "I'm bewildered. I
have nine shows in 11 days in two continents," he writes, before adding:
"Alesha's doing fine. She's finding her voice as a judge." I agree with him.

My mate, actress Angela Griffin,
messages me. She's bagged her own chat show on Sky1 called Angela And
Friends and asks me to be her first guest. I'm not sure it's a good idea -
we'd spend the whole time in fits of giggles, as usual!
Guess what? I heard some gossip today about an American star. Apparently she can't get in front of the camera without puffing on pot, and likes to get busy with her boyfriend in her trailer between shoots. Ooh-er!
