Peter Andre is a man transformed - it's screamingly apparent within seconds of him entering the room. It's not just that he's looking particularly hot (and he is) in jeans, a white tee and leather jacket. It's the fact his smile is easy, his laughter genuine and when he sits down to chat, he's completely and utterly at ease.
It's a far cry from the desperately unhappy, haunted and bruised man who first spoke to Fabulous about the break-up of his marriage five months ago. Tanned, radiating confidence and fitter than ever, Peter has regained just a little of the 3st he lost after splitting from Katie Price, but the lean lines suit him.

"I'm happy in a way I haven't been since my 20s," he nods. "I spent two weeks in Australia at Christmas with my family and friends. I did nothing but relax, chat, go out for dinner, play backgammon with my dad and sit in the sun.
"I was away from everything, all the madness. I felt my identity returning to me. I accepted the end of my relationship a long time ago, but I found it hard to come to terms with the place that left me in. Now I'm finally happy in myself. I think I've found the real me."
It's clear that the wounds have healed, but Peter still bears the scars of the break-up. His ex-wife moved on and moved in cage fighter Alex Reid to the marital home just months after their split. Peter has yet to start dating again, which begs the question - what really happened to showbiz's most-photographed couple?

Despite massive pressure, Peter has refused to discuss the real reasons for the breakdown of his three-and-a-half year marriage to Katie, 31.
"Ultimately, a marriage has to be about trust," he says. "Once that trust is gone..."
The words are left hanging. Indeed, it's what Peter doesn't say that speaks volumes. Whispers that she had an affair with her handsome horse trainer, Andrew Gould, have been strenuously denied, but the rumours were reignited just three weeks ago when he was snowed in for two nights at Katie's Surrey mansion, while her boyfriend Alex, 34, was locked away in the Celebrity Big Brother house. When questioned, Peter eventually admits Katie's obsession with the 29-year-old married father of two put a strain on their relationship.

"I would never ask her to stop riding, but I did ask her to move her horses or get a new instructor. She didn't. It was no secret among our friends that I was unhappy," Peter says.
"When we weren't working, I always wanted us to have a family day with the kids. I'd wake up and she'd have left already to go riding. In America she'd go out riding with no make-up, but here she'd go out on her horse fully made-up.
"Let me make it clear I was totally faithful to her. I never so much as held another girl's hand during our marriage. The vows we took meant everything to me.
"Once Katie was obsessed with a girl at my gym she thought fancied me. So I stopped going to the gym for three months. But she wouldn't switch riding instructors."

Things became so fraught in their marriage that, unbeknown to the outside world, 11 months before they officially split, they had a trial separation. Peter went to Cyprus for 10 days, while Katie stayed at home.
"I felt she didn't love me any more, but I was still determined to try to salvage things, make it work for us and for the kids," he admits. "We both had counselling. There were four things we both agreed to change and within two weeks, I had changed every single one. Kate didn't bother."
He goes quiet, steadfast in his resolve not to publicly attack the mother of his children - Junior, five, Princess, two and seven-year-old Harvey, from Katie's relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke - but the rumours refuse to go away. Peter once said there would be three reasons to end his marriage - drugs, an affair or lies. He looks down: "That's right," he says. He purses his lips. "Kate knows. And she also knows that I know she knows."

Only last November it seemed to viewers that Katie was still not truly over Peter when she declared on I'm A Celebrity! she could no longer stay in the jungle because she was surrounded by memories of where they met.
"Every morning I'd look over and expect to see Pete and it was like all these good memories, then it would click and I'd think all these good memories are gone now, it's sad," she said. "I wanted to stay to the end, but emotionally it was really, really hard - probably because of the Pete part, the good memories."
After the show one of the first people she called was Peter. "She asked me if I'd been watching," he says. "I genuinely hadn't seen any of it. Then she told me she was ending her relationship with Alex. I said that was up to her. All I was interested in talking to her about was the children. She wanted to see them, but they were supposed to be with me. I told her it was absolutely fine, I understood how important it was. I was trying to be a fair parent."
As well as the calls there were late-night texts - "I don't want to say exactly what she said... I just assume she'd had a bit too much to drink". But for Peter, this is not a game of will they or won't they reconcile.
"It's no way," he says firmly. "I don't want to sound harsh, but I have to be clear. I've been to hell and back and I'm just recovering. That door is completely closed. I can absolutely say I will never go back. Ever."
And now he has closure on that relationship, he finally feels ready to consider starting another.
"I want to find someone else and get married again"
"I'm ready to think about someone else in my life," he says. "I do want to get married again. I do want to find someone else.
"And I honestly would like to see Kate happy. I'd like her to find a man responsible enough to be a good influence on her and my children. If she met someone like that, I'd be happy."
He doesn't want to be drawn on the alleged New Year's Eve fight between Alex and Dane Bowers, 30, a former flame of Katie's, at her home, or the clip of the party on YouTube which showed the children up at midnight, only saying: "What would any caring parent think of that?"
And he has yet to meet Alex, despite the cage fighter announcing he wanted to sit down with him.
"I don't know him, but it's about what's good for my children," says Peter.
Just like he refused to watch Katie in the jungle, he had no interest in watching Alex on CBB. You can see it's his way of retaining some sanity. His life revolves around his children and work. But as he chats about our super-sexy photo shoot, it's also obvious the lid on his post-Katie sex ban is about to explode.
"Oh man, that was an amazing shoot!" he smiles. "I was with these gorgeous girls and it was such a blast. I was fully clothed in the pool with these beautiful women. It was a great way to spend a day."
He pauses before throwing his head back and laughing.
"OK, OK, I'm desperate for sex," he says. "It's been a long time. But it's a whole new ball game. I'm a different man, I want a different type of girl. I'm definitely cautious about women now. It's going to take me a long time to trust someone. I haven't done anything yet apart from think about it, but I don't want to be a monk."
In the past, Peter has admitted being attracted to bad girls. Not any more.
"Since the split I've found out who I am"
"I'm so over that stage now," he says. "I want someone I can take things slowly with. I'm part of a package - it's me and my kids. I won't introduce anyone to them until I'm sure, and I think it'll take a lot before I'm sure.
"Cheryl Cole and Keira Knightley are gorgeous. They're definitely my type of girl, even though they're both taken. The weird thing is Kate was never my type. I remember being shown a picture of her and Jodie Marsh before going on I'm A Celebrity! and thinking: 'Definitely neither of them'. I fell for Kate because she was different to how I imagined, she had no make-up on and jungle clothes. I just fell in love with that girl.
"I'm looking forward to finding someone else. I'm hoping it will just hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm a 36-year-old man with children and I want someone who is prepared to take all of that on. I look at my parents, who have been together forever, and to me that is the ultimate success. That's what I want for myself, but it's all about the right girl. I want true love, a love that will last and a love I can trust."

It's strange to think it took splitting from Katie for the public to take Peter to their hearts. Everywhere he goes, people call to him. Frank Lampard made a detour to meet him at a Beyoncé gig and Alex's CBB housemate, Vinnie Jones, admitted he was Team Peter.
"A year and a half ago I was voted Celebrity Tool Of The Year," Peter says. "Looking back, I was a different person with Kate. I felt like a lot of the time I was a total mug. I felt worthless, but since the split, I've found out who I am. I realise now how much of my confidence got sapped and how much of my identity disappeared.
"Since I walked away I've just been very honest about everything. What's important to me are the same things - my kids, my work, my family, and being a decent person.
"What's been incredible is all the public support - that's helped more than I can say. At the end of each show on my tour, I'm going to thank the public for the life they've given me back. So much of how I feel now has to do with their support. I get letters, even food sent to me. It's unbelievably touching."
Last year, several album signings had to be cancelled after tens of thousands of people turned up, blocking motorways and making the events a logistical nightmare. Peter mania had taken hold.
"I'd be at a signing that was supposed to last two hours and I ended up staying seven or eight to meet as many people as I could! A lot had to be cancelled and that's the one thing I really want to get sorted this year, so from next month I'm going to lots of signings and then touring after that," he says.

The demand for Peter looks set to continue well into 2010. As well as his 38-date tour, tomorrow Peter releases a new album, Love Songs, a combination of original material and covers. Following on from the success of his slot on This Morning, TV execs are clamouring to get him on the small screen - he's presenting a show backstage at the Brits next month and has several exciting projects on the go, including filming a new series of his reality show and a possible return to America. For now, he's focusing on his tour - and fans are in for a treat.
"Man, I'm so looking forward to it," he says. "I'm working with Michael Jackson's choreographer and my favourite part is my Michael Jackson tribute. Junior has seen me rehearsing and absolutely loves it. It's amazing to think him and Princess can see me on stage.
"Junior is just like I was at his age - he's really into music and Michael Jackson. As a kid, my favourite thing was a leather jacket I was bought when I was six. I thought I was the Fonz and the coolest thing. I asked Mum if she had it and it was in my wardrobe in Australia. I'm going to give it to Junior when he's six."
Peter wanted to take his children to see his family in Australia over Christmas, but says he wasn't allowed. "I was devastated and tried to fight legally, but in the end I had to accept it and instead I got to see them in the run up to Christmas and Christmas Day, which was amazing, before flying out the next day. It's that situation with the kids that's been killing me over the past months."
His kids - including Harvey, whom he regards as his own - are clearly at the forefront of everything Peter does. On his wedding finger is a tattoo of Katie's name. He rubs it thoughtfully.
"I don't want to have it removed because it would confuse my children. They look for it on my hand. When I meet the right woman it will go and I'll explain why, but for now it's there and I'm OK with that. It doesn't mean anything except to my children. But they mean everything to me."
He looks serious for a moment, but it's not long before the Andre grin returns.
"I'm looking forward. Life is good and I just want to make it better for me and my kids."

Peter has shown real strength of character by choosing to remain quietly private on what I suspect has been the hardest and most traumatic publicly played out time in his life. It is very easy to point score and seek approval when you are feeling at your lowest and very ugly. He has at all times remained focused on the bigger picture, always considering his most prized assets - his children which is commendable. What people say and what they think are often two different things!
It is a sign of our ever eroding society that people can be so rude and cruel with their opinions. Judge not lest the be judged,for in the same way you judge others, you will be judged yourself!

I don't understand the dislike. I've had the pleasure of working with Peter and he's the kindest person I've met in the entertainment industry. He loves his children - can't stop talking about them and he loves his singing career, regardless of how good or bad he may be. Isn't that all that matters? Love for your children and your life?

For those who have been so negative against Pete, leave him alone. Why so harsh and so much anger? If you don't like him, why did you even bother reading the article? Give the poor guy a break. You see how long it takes you to get over a break up in marriage and not having your kids with you all the time. If you were offered tonnes of bucks to do a mild interview, would you refuse? I'm glad he's over her and hope they now both get on with their lives. They're divorced and it's clearly absolutely final as he will never go back to the dark side.

They helped each other out all thos years ago but however where Kate has gone ahead and partied and reverted back to her ways pre-andre at least we can see that andre has avoided the partying and concentrated on his career whatever he may do to rech his dream of stardom we are the worst ones for reading and getting so into the hype that we feel as if its our friends/family and lives. its not for us to get involved in......read and enjoy their stories but why get all annoyed about what they get up to???
We'll never know the true story and to be honest thats what these celebs love!!! its not us making the money if anything its us losing our money by buying into the hype.

He would have done this interview because his new album was out the day after and NOT because Alex won CBB, he would of been interviewed for this well in advance so at that stage he wouldn't of even known Alex was going to win CBB because Vinnie was the favourite for so long!
He has again come across as a true gentleman who only cares about his kids, he didn't slag Katie off instead said that he hopes she is happy one day again a statement of a geniune person who only adores his children.
However if you want to look at people doing things for publicity then just wait until the big exclusive on Katie and Alex engagement comes out, thats when Alex winning CBB will really count!
Peter is a role model for young people whereas you can't say that about Katie Price now can you?

Ew, the guy is so ugly, look at that nose and almost non existent lips! The photos are photoshopped too and he still manages to look that bad. Wow.You're not sexy Peter so PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP WITH THE CHEESY HALF NAKED PHOTOS! This guy has made a career out of people hating his EX WIFE, he bangs on about not wanting to talk about her and their marriage yet that is all he has done since the split. He loves his kids? SO WHAT???? He is no better than every other dad around, actually he has it a lot easier than most dads do, as he has babysitters, doesn't have a 9 to 5 job and doesn't have to worry about bills or any crap that most other dads have to worry about. I hoped that your marrage would work , however it didnt you chose to leave and KP had to move on i think you were both very insercure and caused the breakup its not fair on the children to see there mother dragged through the mud over and over ,no matter what happened you are both good parents and i wish you both the best but keep it polit for the kids you can still be friends for them .

IMO Alex is a kind enough, simple bloke. Easily led and will end up another victim of Jordan. I cannot believe how so many people can be so cruel. What is peter supposed to do...you'd all be attacking him if like Katie did with alex, he ran off with the first possible Available woman. When you marry it is supposed to be for life, otherwise why take those vows. Peter obviously has been very hurt, but doesn't that show he is a decent, caring person? What do the British public want? Him to portray a heartless, selfish and cold person like so many people are these days? He's hurting, So if telling it to the world helps him why is this so bad. Its nice to see that he can be honest and still not speak bad of Katie as the mother of his children. He is a gentleman and that's whats beautiful about him.
Katie had such an amazing husband but God has a wife for him who is perfectly suited,kind,loving and gentle as he is.
People may give him a hard time for selling his story but everywhere he goes,every interview he is in hes asked about it, Katie price has spoken about it on many occasions i just think he wanted to get it over and done with and move on.
I pray for peace now and happiness for both of them and Alex Reid and their children too.

I just want to say I adore Peter Andre and I look up to him. I am a big fan of him. When he was doing his programme I watch every one of them and didn't miss one. Also I think that your children are adorable. Harvey, bless him.. He's so cute when he says that he loves you. Also Junior I so like you and when he's older all the girls will be after him, haha! But somestimes you have to know when to call it a day. You did and it's your turn to enjoy life now. Katie Price (aka Jordan) appears to need only 3 things in her life: Wealth, Fame and the desire to WIN! As long as she is winning - she is happy! Otherwise she comes across a very cold woman! Alex Reid's appeal is totally cosmetic. Neither he or she could sustain their looks long enough for this relationship to work long term. Indeed her money could've easily helped to secure the CBB winning spot for Alex Reid. She has a phone, millions of pounds and not much else on... at the time.
Peter Andre is the true winner. He is genuine,a good father,a warm,talented, lovely man. None of these qualities will fade in time, only improve with age like a good wine. He deserves to find true happiness with the right person and lets hope she is just round the corner and he can put this horrible`Jordan' episode well and truely to bed once and for all and never feel obliged to mention her name again.

As has already been said, it was his choice to go away over christmas. He can't blame his ex for that. Keeping kids up to midnight at new year? I thought everyone done that. It's certainly what happens in my family as to me, new year is about being with the ones you love and hoping it stays like that for the year to come. Katie has said she misses him but i cant see why. I think she's just having trouble getting over what she was used to. Pete was always too much of a whimging wimp so not much to lose there. Like alex, just hope he stands up to her a bit more. I'm sure it will do them all good. This interview was a really bad move by petes camp.

PA was a Z lister and to raise his profile he sold his soul to Can. He was told to hitch on to a high profiler to raise his profile. He was told to hitch on to KP in the jungle he did all the running and told her he loved her after a few days. When his album was ready and his profile was raised Can told him to leave KP and go on his own . Like a dutiful puppy he obeyed. Now he says he never fancied his wife as he was only following his agents orders. People are now waking up to the fact PA has no talent cannot sing very well or write songs. His whole reincarnation has been on the back of KP and to stay in the news he has to slag his ex how sad an individual he is and what a pathetic company Can are.
