Mariah as her normal, glamorous self, and dressed up as a man!

Who's that dashing chap on the set of Mariah Carey's new video? The scary truth is it's none other than Mariah herself, looking disturbingly convincing dressed up as a man!

Ms Carey's been making a name for herself recently as an actress with her critically acclaimed performance as a social worker in the film Precious and it seems the singer isn't afraid to get into character in her own music videos either. The diva was filming the clip for her new single, Obsessed, the first track off her latest album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.

She gamely donned a beard, hat and military-style jacket for the scene outside the Plaza Hotel in New York. Luckily just as we were starting to get a little spooked by 'man-Mariah', she appeared as her usual glamorous self, with flowing locks, thigh-skimming dress and Hollywood smile - phew!
