THE LOOK: Lids that catch the light - go as subtle or bold as you like.
PREP:
For maximum staying-power, sweep a powder like 17 Loose Powder, £5.37, over
lids first.
DAY: We love new Nars eyeshadow in Mousson, £15. This
shimmering shadow is olive green- a key colour this season. Or blend your
own with Myface Glitter Trio Eyeshadows, £9.78, which contain two matte
shades and a glitter gel.
NIGHT: For bolder colours, Bourjois
Shimmering Shine Liquid Eyeshadows, £6.84, are brilliant. We like Bleu
Electrolyse 36, and Rose Electron 38. Apply all over your socket, then sweep
a little under your bottom lashes. Finish with a metallic eyeliner and a
sprinkling of loose glitter, like Mac Pigment Powder in Silver (above), £15.
TOP
TIP! Get rid of excess glitter by picking it off with sticky tape.

THE LOOK: Strong block colour with sexy shimmer.
PREP: Apply a clear,
ultra-shiny base coat first. Seche Vite Top Coat, £8.95, makes a great base
too and will leave nails looking glossy. Under a metallic shade, it will
make the colour fizz.
DAY: There are loads of metallic polishes,
but our faves are Rimmel 60 Seconds in Green With Envy (below), £3.49, or
Essie in Aruba Blue, £8.85.
NIGHT: Add extra sparkle by
sprinkling loose eye glitter on top of polish before it dries. We love
Collection 2000's Dazzle Me!, £2.99.
TOP TIP! Metallic
polish looks best on short, square nails.

THE LOOK: Dramatic sweeps of shine from your cheeks up to your forehead!
PREP:
Create a shimmery base with a light-reflecting primer. Benefit That Gal
Brightening Face Primer, £19.50, suits all skin tones.
DAY:
Keep it subtle with pink, peach or coral blusher with hints of glitter. For
fair skin, try Bourjois Illuminating Touch in Rose Universal, £7, while
Benefit Coralista, £22.50, looks great on olive skin.
NIGHT:
Go metal mad by layering bright colours - as many as you dare! New Lancôme
Rose Liberté Illuminating Smooth Powder in Magnifique Iridescence, £32,
builds to an intense gold, or use Rimmel Quad Eyeshadow Palettes in Bold
Behaviour and Sweet Smoulder, £6.49, as blushers. Start with one colour then
keep adding until you have three or four in the mix.
TOP TIP! Use
your fingertips to blend blushers together.

THE LOOK: Full-on block colour in bold metallics and glitter.

in Nude Attitude, £7.13, is ideal.

metallic pink, or Estée Lauder High Gloss in Amethyst, £12.72, a punchy
purple.

Lipgloss in Almost Famous, £14, is amazing. For extra zing, dab Barry M
shimmering Eye And Lip Crayon in Gold (above), £4.50, over lips.

out on a nude lipstick.
