COOL CORAL
WEAR ON: Cheeks
SUITS: Anyone!
A sweep of bright blush will create cheekbones to rival Kate Moss'.
POP
TIP: "This is a strong trend, so stick to pastels for the rest of your
look," advises celebrity make-up artist Cassie Lomas. A cream formula is
perfect for shaping the colour into this '80s-esque sweep. Or, for a less
bold look, smile and apply to the highest part of your cheek.

BLUE CRUSH
WEAR ON: Nails
SUITS: Those
under 40 - we're not being ageist, but a colour this bright can draw
attention to more mature hands. If you're self-conscious, opt for a paler
shade.
POP TIP: You can bring these bold shades bang up to
date with a shorter, squared-off nail shape. "Neon colours can stain the
nail, so apply a protective base coat first," advises Cassie. A glossy
finish can be too much for bright blue, so stick to two coats of matte
polish.

Anti-Breakage Base, £3.99; Essie Nail Enamel in Mesmerize, £8.95; Barry M
Nail Paint in Cobalt Blue, £2.95.
PINK PASSION
WEAR ON: Lips
SUITS: Pretty
much anyone - fuchsia pink looks as great on fair complexions as it does on
darker skin tones.
POP TIP: "Hot-pink lips are great for
summer as long as you keep the rest of your make-up fresh and natural,"
Cassie says. Bright colours can bleed, so first line your lips with a
matching lip liner. "When applying lipstick, use a lip brush to colour in
lips from the outside in, then pat your finger around the lip line to soften
the edges," she adds.
POP PRODUCTS: Mac Lip Pencil in
Magenta, £8.81; Lord & Berry Vogue Semi Matte Lipstick in Fuchsia,
£9.95; Stargazer Liquid Eye Liner in White, £3.
ORANGE OVERLOAD
WEAR ON: Eyes
SUITS:
Olive and dark skin tones. Matte orange shadow is a great backdrop to
youthful peepers, especially brown eyes, as it deepens them.
POP
TIP: Always use an eye primer first to lock in colour. "Pick a matte,
powder texture and look for eyeshadows with high pigments, which will give
you a bolder result," recommends Cassie. Sweep shadow across the lid with
your finger, then build up colour layer by layer.
