GORGEOUS GEISHA
THE LOOK: OK, it's not your average daytime wear, but it is beautiful. Draw a geisha outline with a tomato-red lip pencil such as Yves Saint Laurent Lipliner Pencil in True Red, £14, then fill in with a shade like Miners Lip Colour in Seduction, £3.99. Add a feline flick on the eyes with Pure Kajal Eyeliner, £11.75, and long, fluttery Mister Mascara Paradise Lashes in White, £8.63.
HELEN'S VERDICT: "I love this look. The lashes are so long they look amazing, and the lip shape is more flattering than I expected."
FUNKY FLUORO
THE LOOK The '80s are back - which means bright fluorescents and colour clashes. We love 17 Solo Eyeshadow in Ivory Coast, £3.22, and Urban Decay Matte Eyeshadow in Flash, £11. Blend a powder blush like B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful Blusher in Bashful, £10.75, from the top of your cheekbones to your hairline, then towards your brow bone. Lips are loud and proud in Mac Full Fuchsia lipstick, £11.26.
HELEN'S VERDICT: "I've just bought a neon lipstick and this has inspired me to wear it more and try out brighter eye colours."
TRIBAL TEMPTRESS
THE LOOK Smouldering metallics make this a super-sexy look. Give your skin a hint of colour and sharpen cheekbones with Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Luminous Liquid Bronzer, £19.57. Wing your eyeshadow out to your hairline - try L'Oréal Paris Color Appeal in 151 Pure Gold, £4.99, and Laura Mercier Metallic Crème Eye Colour in Burnished Copper, £18. Finish with a slick of metallic lip gloss using Rimmel Vinyl Bronze in Golden Goddess, £4.29.
HELEN'S VERDICT: "This is the most 'me' - dark, smoky eyes with lots of bronzer, sexy gloss and nude lips."
SCI-FI SEXY
GET THE LOOK Lilac lips, glossy eyes and lined eyebrows are more wearable than you think. Use a matte base like Bourjois Brush Foundation, £11.75. Press Paul & Joe Eye Gloss in 02, £15, into the inner corners of your eyes. Slick Vaseline, £1.15, over the rest of your lids for a glossy finish, and define lashes with black mascara. Block out your eyebrows with Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer, £14.68, then carefully draw faux brows just above your natural brow - we used Maybelline Kohl Express Eyeliner in Black, £3.99. Paint your pout in Stargazer Lipstick in 115, £3, for new-wave lips.
HELEN'S VERDICT: "I thought I'd look odd in the futuristic make-up, but it's one of my favourite looks. I'm amazed I can wear lilac lipstick!"
