BOOZY BATH

We all know about the heart-healthy properties of red wine, but it seems Teri Hatcher is one step ahead. The 44-year-old Desperate Housewives star pours two glasses of red wine into her bath to soften and smooth her skin.
But does it work?
"Red wine contains antioxidant-rich resveratrol, which stimulates the renewal of skin cells," explains celeb facialist Vanda Serrador, founder of Urban Skin. "Adding it to your bath is a great way to keep skin soft, but you've got to be careful not to mix it with chemical-based oils or bath essences as this will counteract the properties."
And, of course, you can always enjoy a cheeky glass while you bathe. Cheers!
JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT
COFFEE CURLS

Ever since she smashed on to our screens as a teen-scream queen, Jennifer Love Hewitt's hair has been coveted the world over. But now we know what she did last night! The beautiful brunette, 30, rinses cooled fresh coffee through her hair to enhance her tresses.
But does it work?
"The beans add a rich, deep glossy colour to dark hair," says Jose Molino of Neville Hair And Beauty, who has worked with Rachel Weisz's locks.
So now you can wake up and smell the coffee every morning!
CINDY CRAWFORD
MILK MAGIC

It's been almost 20 years since Cindy Crawford stormed the catwalks, but you wouldn't think she'd aged at all judging by her flawless complexion. Her DIY secret? Washing her face in a mixture of whole milk and mineral water. It might sound a bit gross, but 43-year-old Cindy loves the dewy, fresh-faced effect.
But does it work?
"Milk nourishes skin and keeps irritations at bay," says Vanda. "Use mineral, not tap water - which contains harsh chemicals."
JULIA ROBERTS
NAIL IT

Forget those weekly trips to the nail salon, Julia Roberts, 41, keeps it real by soaking her nails in olive oil for a few minutes every week to soften cuticles and toughen up nails.
But does it work?
"Olive oil is intensely moisturising and acts as a barrier to prevent further dehydration," says manicurist to the stars, Sophy Robson. "One of my clients, Nancy Dell'Olio, swears by it and has beautiful nails. Apply after your bath, just before bed."
CATHERINE ZETA-JONES
SALT SCRUB

Catherine Zeta-Jones likes to rub a mixture of honey and salt all over her body to moisturise and exfoliate. "You wash it off and your skin is gorgeous," raves the 39-year-old actress.
But does it work?
"Dead Sea salt products are packed full of minerals that nourish the skin," says Sally Penford, from The International Dermal Institute. "And honey is a great skin smoother, plus it binds water to the skin, making an amazing moisturiser."
JENNIFER ANISTON
SUGAR RUSH

She's spent most of the last few months in a lip lock with her now ex-boyfriend, musician John Mayer, so it's really no wonder that Marley & Me actress Jennifer Aniston likes to keep her pout in top condition. But instead of collagen injections, Jennifer, 40, puts half a teaspoon of sugar and a little water on a toothbrush and scrubs her lips with it for around a minute.
But does it work?
"I think this sounds like a wonderful, intensive exfoliating treat for lips," says Libby Eley of Dove Spa UK.
"However, I'd recommend doing it on warm wet lips and using a soft toothbrush, followed by a rich lip balm to lock in moisture."
So for soft and oh-so-kissable lips - and the chance to make your love life even sweeter - don't forget your toothbrush!
