There were killer clowns, birds and bacon and egg costumes – yes, really! – at fright-night parties in London and LA

Celebs love nothing more than dressing up in crazy costumes at Halloween and the biggest bash of the spooky season is always Heidi Klum and Seal's annual Hollywood do.

This year the glamorous couple wore bird costumes to welcome their guests, who included Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Doug Reinhard, Jessica Alba, Kelly Osbourne and fiancé Luke Worrall and celeb blogger Perez Hilton (looking more Gaga than the Lady herself!)

A-listers also dressed up to take their little ones trick or treating (some looked like they were having more fun than their kids!) - Christina Aguilera and son Max wore matching skeleton costumes, while Gwen Stefani dressed up as Raggedy Ann to take Kingston and Zuma out for some Halloween fun.

Back in London the party scene was in full swing, with The Saturdays, Pixie Geldof and Jordan all stepping out in show-stopping outfits.
