Now all 13 albums have been remastered by boffins at the Abbey Road studios and sound crisper and even more fab.
The amazing new Beatles Rock Band game is out this week too - so kids can check that out first before diving into this brilliant set of the records that turned music on its head.

No, the original CDs sounded bad...tinny, thin, and obvious artifacts from the primitave A/D converters they used back then. You haven't really listened if you think they sound great. Compare the 87 CDs to the new ones (back to back with headphones) and then come back and tell me they sounded good.

Those music purits that grumble about the old cds not sounding good probably had a lousy sound system. I have all the 87 remastered cds and they sound great, when i stop at a red light and am blasting "carry that weight" the hip hoppers next to me can keep up with the sound that's coming out of my car they put their windows down lower their stereo and give me a thumbs up. Anyway i bought the stereo cds, but i should have bought the monos cause they sound better, i'll probably buy the monos later-also bought the rockband game and box of vision.
