Cult US rockers Yeasayer are fiendishly infectious on the blinding Audacity Of Huge, while the psychedelic Pinball, featuring dance act Telepathe, is so way out you might never find your way back in again.
The two instrumentals, 10,000 Horses and Ambulance, are just as strong - evidence that SMD don't need to rely on their mates to kick a party into action.
Watch out Arctics: if this album takes off as much as it deserves, James may be too busy to work with you again.
