ROLL up, roll up . . . it's Super Monkey Ball on the Wii!

Yes, AiAi and the rest of those wacky little chaps in their giant balls are back.

SEGA have announced that the arcade classic franchise will be released for Nintendo's Wii early next year.

And in Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll, gamers use the Wii balance board (£65) to roll their characters around each level - doing their best to avoid the dreaded "fall out".

I watched the game in action the other week and it looks just as good as its predecessors - if not better.

Plenty of monkeying around to come then.
