WHEN it comes to stupidity, this is straight out of the same barrel as Transformers, but sadly it ain't quite so good.

Gerard Butler stars as an inventor who sees his wife and daughter raped and murdered by two burglars. His lawyer Nick (Jamie Foxx) gets one of them the death penalty but the ringleader walks.

Gerry spends the next DECADE cooking up an impossibly complex revenge plan that stretches realism tighter than the high D on a five-string banjo.

But if you want a crazy mix of Saw and Shawshank, where a lot of people get killed in nasty ways and Gerard Butler gets his bum out, then this is a decent bet.
