DVDs of the week

ICE AGE 3 (PG): It's the third biggest box office hit EVER after Titanic and Lord of the Rings (yes, really) and now Scrat and co's latest adventure comes to DVD and Blu-ray. Not in the same league as Up and Fantastic Mr Fox but I've got a serious soft spot for its mix of old-fashioned cartoon stylings and gorgeous CGI visuals.

TERMINATOR SALVATION (12): Disastrous summer blockbuster starring Christian Bale in angry mode that besmirches the good name of the Terminator franchise. Decent effects but that's it. A whole host of behind-the-scenes stuff for those who can be bothered.

FIGHT CLUB (18): A genuine modern masterpiece, with Brad Pitt and Ed Norton at their very best gets a flash Blu-ray re- release, with special features coming out of its ears.

MY SISTER'S KEEPER (12): Toe-curlingly poor cancer drama starring Cameron Diaz and a cute bald kid. Our showbiz guy Dan Wootton thinks it's brilliant.
