PUBLIC ENEMIES (15): One of 2009's biggest disappointments, this gangster thriller - starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale tries to be flashy but just comes off cold and boring. Overlong and overrated.

FAMILY GUY: SEASON 8 (15): It used to be rubbish but now it's great - recent Family Guy never fails to raise a chuckle or five and the 13 episodes in the new box set are as good as any that came just before them. Giggity, and indeed giggity.

THE AGE OF STUPID (no cert): There's been a glut of great eco-docs in 2009 but this is one of the best - Pete Postlethwaite sifts through videos of present-day climate change from a dark future where the world got flooded or something. Scary stuff.
