ANGELS & DEMONS (12): Tom Hanks jogs around Rome solving riddles in one of the summer's most idiotic blockbusters. The plot's got more holes than a packet of Leerdammer and Ewan McGregor's cr*p Irish accent seals the deal. Rubbish.
CRANK 2: HIGH VOLTAGE (18): Brilliantly sleazy Jason Sta- tham action movie. A contract killer tries to nab his heart back from organ dealers, while living on an electric ticker that constantly needs recharging. Elevates stupidity to art.
IS ANYBODY THERE? (15): Michael Caine stars in this touching British drama about an old magician in a OAPs' home who befriends the owners' very shy son. Funny and moving, and Caine's on top form.
SOUNDS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT (PG): Top- notch British documentary film about four kids entering Junior Eurovision. Hilarious, touching and with a knockout feel-good ending, this ranks as one of the most purely enjoyable films of the year.
