Quarantine, Easy Virtue & more

QUARANTINE (18, four stars)

AN outbreak of zombie-itis closes down an LA apartment building, leaving the residents at the mercy of their recently departed neighbours. Absolutely terrifying - a horror must if you've not already seen the original Spanish version [REC].

MISS PETTIGREW LIVES FOR A DAY (PG, four stars)

OVERLOOKED wartime charmer by Slumdog Millionaire scribe Simon Beaufoy about the unlikely friendship between a ditzy actress (Amy Adams) and her strait-laced home help (Frances McDormand).

EASY VIRTUE (PG, four stars)

NONE-more-whimsical 1920s romantic caper starring Jessica Biel (a lot better than you'd think) as an American rally driver who marries into a clan of English toffs.

MY NAME IS BRUCE (15, three stars)

B-MOVIE lord Bruce Campbell does 'one for the fans' in this tongue-in-cheek horror about an out-of-work actor battling a Chinese demon.
