SUPER spy 007 did it in Thunderball - now you can enjoy the thrill of a jetpack in Dark Void.
And it works. Zooming around the skies enjoying dogfights with UFOs is fantastic fun in this third- person shooter.
At times you have the freedom to whizz around, which results in similar satisfaction to SEGA's title Ironman.
However, that's where the fun ends in this somewhat flawed game.
While the flying is great, there's not enough of it and most of your time is spent on the ground.
While graphics are okay, Dark Void suffers from a pretty mundane shooting system and short single player mode (you're lucky to get eight hours).
So despite the jetpack, it's no high-flyer. 5/10
