BARELY a year after his excellent album Magic, Springsteen is back-except he's more like a second-in-command than The Boss.
Most of the songs were recorded in a few takes, and it shows.
Some of them, like the two-minute Tomorrow Never Knows, are raw rock.
Others, notably the daft Queen Of The Supermarket, really should have been polished up.
Enough anthems to keep fans happy, but it's born to jog rather than Born To Run.
