Lies worst thing Gord cooked up

LYING, cheating, hypocritical scumbag. I think that just about sums up Gordon Ramsay.

Because now we discover this man who makes such a big play of being honest and who constantly brags that he "tells it like it is" is actually too much of a coward to tell his wife how it REALLY is.

He hasn't had the guts to tell her that for years he hasn't had just one mistress, Sarah Symonds, he's had TWO. That's not counting the woman he slept with in Los Angeles who he boasted about to Sarah (in bed, no doubt).

For all his money, his success, his fame-Ramsay is just like all those other slimy, married men who think they can have their cake and eat it.

He reels in starstruck women with some clichéd old tosh about how his wife doesn't understand him. Then, in order to make poor lil' misunderstood Gordon feel better, dazzle him with every sexual trick in the book.

But what on earth made him think he was going to get away with bedding a woman who's a professional mistress and who's already spoken out about her affair with Jeffrey Archer?

Was it terminal arrogance? Did he think his fame and his money made him untouchable? Or did he just not care enough about his wife to stay faithful?

And I don't give a stuff that he's a celebrity and women throw themselves at him. He ought to have been smart enough to know that if they do it's not because he's lovely and charming but because he's stinking rich and on the telly.

But what makes him an unredeemable creep is that in the week he could have come clean-to his wife, to his family and to the public who have not only made him obscenely rich but who have naively swallowed his carefully crafted "Family Man Image"-he chose instead to lie some more.

He paraded his poor wife-who despite the show she put on for the cameras- must be devastated. He's also reportedly told Tana and their friends he met Symonds four times and that most of what's been written is "bollocks".

No, what's "bollocks" is HIS lies, his faux grief and the pretence that he's actually bothered about his wife's devastation. Because if he'd really cared about Tana, he wouldn't have repeatedly cheated on her.

Nor would he have made sick unfunny jokes about his "mistress" at the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham after saying his wife and mum were in the audience How cruel can you be?

And how must Tana, who has handled herself with such dignity this last week, feel now? She might just have begun to believe she could forgive her husband for cheating with Sarah a handful of times.

However, now that she knows the full extent of his treachery and how much he was prepared to lie to protect himself, how can she ever trust him, forgive him, love him again?

And there's no point blaming Symonds for what's happened. She's single. And the men who sleep with her know what she does. Ramsay is married. He's got a wife and four kids all of whom are HIS responsibility, not Sarah Symonds'.

Symonds says she believes the TV chef cheats because he's driven by the danger of getting caught, and the thought of that actually turns him on.

Well, how "turned on" does he feel now as he looks into the eyes of his desolate, trusting wife? How "turned on" does he feel looking at his kids who depend on him for love and stability?

If Tana Ramsay stays with her husband now, she's a stronger woman than me, than most of us. Because no matter how many times he says he's sorry and he won't do it again-he will!

Selfish, arrogant men like Ramsay, who take what they want when they want for the twisted thrill of the danger, will always cheat.

One woman will never be enough for him because his ego and his overpowering vanity won't allow it to be!
