Footie thug should never work again

MARLON King isn't just a thug, a bighead and an abuser of women.

He's an animal who should be caged for a very long time and never allowed to play league football again.

This lout is under the impression that because he earns forty grand a week it somehow entitles him to punch every woman who refuses to be mauled by him or have sex with him.

"I'm a millionaire and you're not even in my league," he told 20-year- old student Emily Carr before punching her in the face as punishment for rejecting his advances.

And this was by no means the first time he'd beaten up women in public.

Another girl was left covered in blood after this monster punched her on the jaw and chased her and her friend through the streets of Soho with a belt and buckle wrapped around his wrist.

And incredibly he smashed a third woman in the face while he was on bail awaiting tral for decking the student.

But then this is a man who thinks women exist only for his sexual gratification and that those who won't co-operate need to be taught a lesson.

And isn't King typical of the new breed of footballer, the kind who think they're Gods, that they're untouchable, who imagine that big money makes them big men whose every wish, every desire has to be granted for no other reason than they know how to kick a ball?

And they've been allowed to think that because many Premiership club managers seem to be as morally bereft as their players. They don't care whether they're violent thugs, rapists, thieves or drunk-drivers. The feeling seems to be that what they do OFF the pitch is irrelevant as long as when they're ON it, they score goals, keep the money rolling in and keep the sponsors happy. And if they do all that, then they're free to punch as many women as they like.

Time and again we've seen footballers accused of crimes the rest of us would be banged up for - but what happens? Their managers hire a posse of top lawyers to protect them from all the nasty publicity and to get them off.

Even now King's idiot lawyer isn't concerned about what his client did to this young woman, only that (boo-hoo) he's going to lose £1million in earnings.

Obviously King's chairman, Wigan's Dave Whelan, is a gratifying exception. The minute he heard King had been convicted he said" That's it. He's out."

And that's precisely how it SHOULD be.

Like it or not, footballers are role models for kids and if those kids see their heroes beating women up and getting away with it - that's what THEY'LL do.

As for King's idiot wife Julie, drivelling on about how she's going to stand by her husband because he's innocent - is she blind? Is she stupid? Or is she just greedy?

Because she can't possibly love a man who routinely beats up women (has he done it to her, I wonder?) She can't love a man she now knows pesters other women for sex.

So the only reason she can be staying is for the money and the lifestyle. And what does that say to THEIR three kids: "Daddy makes women bleed, but never mind, he's very rich and he'll buy you some new toys."

With that kind of parenting, King's kids have every chance of growing up just like their dad.

I'd like to think this moron's career is finished but in the money-grubbing world of football where managers protect the law-breakers and the thugs who make them millions, I wouldn't bet on it.

After all what's beating up women compared to vital Premier League points?
