Gerry grew up in Greece and moved to the UK twelve years ago. He describes himself as "a hedonistic hypocrite". He was a university student for a total of nine years and has a degree in History and Theory of Art and an MSC in classical archaeology. He sees Big Brother as a "living specimen installation".

Gerry has had numerous jobs since graduating, and has worked in various well known art galleries and museums. His dream job would be managing the antiquities department at Christie's whilst being a successful historical novelist.

Gerry says he is offended by "uneducated, common people", admits to being a "total control freak" and deals with stress by practising Ashtanga Yoga. If he could meet anyone it would be Sigmund Freud "to discuss psychoanalysis, human nature, taboos and instincts". He believes in the after-life, has four wardrobes full of clothes but says his life would be vastly improved by a dressing room and a personal butler.

Gerry admires Paris Hilton and his music tastes range from Basement Jaxx to Scissor Sisters, Madonna to Nina Simone and his favourite book is "100 Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Being teetotal, Gerry says sex is his only vice.
