Fears for Kerry's sanity after bizarre TV display
By Dan Wooton & Matthew Acton
SHOCKED GMTV bosses have heavily edited Kerry Katona's
embarrassing outbursts from an interview before putting it on
their website, the News of the World can reveal.
All controversial references to her MUM, DRUGS and PSYCHIATRIC
issues were scrapped in the pared down three-minute online clip.

They acted after Kerry—famous for her "Mum's gone to Iceland" ad catchphrase—gave a bonkers interview in which she slurred her words, flung her arms in the air and cackled.
At the end she left presenter Andrew Castle flustered by sliding
across the sofa and hugging him.

During the live interview, which which was meant to promote her
novel Tough Love about a troubled Page 3 girl, Kerry admitted:
"I did turn to drugs about three years ago."

Those comments were later cut as was her criticism of her mum
Sue, who she fell out with after she revealed details of Kerry's
drug taking.
Kerry
had said: "We no longer speak. She's no longer a part of my life,
the woman's deluded.
"She tried to say that Mark was a mass murderer!" She added: "She is a grandmother but I wouldn't want my children around there because my mother's a self-confessed cocaine addict."
Bosses also cut talk of her psychiatric problems in which she revealed she now has regular therapy.
She said: "I see a psychiatrist once a week because I'm bipolar
as well. That was diagnosed two years ago."
Kerry then admitted she reached her lowest ebb after being held at knifepoint during a robbery at her home in Wilmslow, Cheshire, in July.
"I was off my medication because I was pregnant with Heidi so my hormones were
everywhere, my mood swings were everywhere, I was everywhere.
"And
then after the robbery, it just sent me into this spiral of depression.
" I haven't been downstairs to the cinema room, that's for
sure, since I've been back in the house."
Even the footage that was left in showed Kerry jabbering on, mainly about family life.
She gushed about her children—she has two from her marriage to
Brian McFadden and is expecting her second with new hubby Mark
Croft.
Kerry refused to talk about her custody battle with ex Brian
although she confirmed Molly, six, and Lilly Sue, four, are back
living with her. Then she turned to the camera and squealed: "Hi
Molly and Lilly and Heidi!"
She also babbled on about Mark, praising his skills as a parent and husband.
"Mark is a wonderful stepdad. He's so hands-on," she said.
And in a bizarre defence of claims she cheated on him and had sex behind a Tesco store she said: "That's a load of baloney. They could at least have said Iceland. Give me a bit of credit!"
But
despite GMTV's efforts to contain her embarrassing interview,
the unedited version is still available on YouTube.
A GMTV insider said: "Kerry was all over the place. She acted completely mad.
Andrew struggled to keep the interview going with a straight face."
